Just purchased some Gyeon Wet Coat to try out. Seems to get good reviews and protects for a couple of months, anyone have any experience with it?

I have it, for it to be most effective you need

1 - a clean car. Washed, clayed, decontaminated. You want the SiO2 to bond to the car itself.
2 - have a pressure washer.

It seems good so far, the best thing it seems is dirt don't stick to the car as much compared to before.

Thanks, I did those steps just a couple of days ago, although I don't have iron/tar remover in the collection yet, the clay bar worked well.

Not only that, you should really have clean off all the cleaning products as well for best results, there are specific products for that too.

However....wet coat is not as long lasting as the proper higher concentrated ceramic products like the MOHs, where it lasts 12months+ and needs 48 hours of no water after treatment. For Wet Coat, because I will do it like waxes, I just use a pressure washer to clean everything off after snow foam, 2 buckets, clay bay and then 2 buckets. That's clean enough for normal waxes and its fine for Wet Coat.

Cheers, I do have meguiars paint cleaner. Or did you mean like an IPA?

My process the other day was (without pressure washer as I'm a Muppet!)

Bilt Hamber wheel cleaner - dwell, agitated and rinsed
Rinsed car
2 bucket
Dry (shouldn't have bothered)
Bilt Hamber clay
Rinse & 2 bucket
Dry
Dressed engine plastics & body trims with Aerospace 303
Sonax spray wax to finish
Dressed tyres with Meguiars Endurance gel
Alu Belgom on exhaust tips.

Came out looking well, the plan is to polish with SRP this week, add Collinite 915 and finish with Wet Look if that's not overkill.

If you are using wet coat with other waxes like Collinite, I would put the wax as the top layer. My logic is that for the higher concentration ceramic stuff, they come with a top layer to put on top to protect it, so waxes would be like that.

I am really lazy....in the future I might use wet coat with pressure washer, then Autoglym Aqua wax on top while it is still wet then wipe off with drying towel.

Aqua wax is brilliant (smells great too!). Crazy easy to use, but doesn't last long. May as well apply some Extra Gloss Protection - lasts an absolute age and isn't much more difficult to use.

Yeah but that involves drying the car first, aqua wax means drying and wax in the same step.

For lazy cheapskate car washing is this the right way forward? Need a mitt recommendation too please, preferably sourced on amazon.

How many washes of an Octavia estate would this do too?

* Kärcher K 2 Compact Pressure Washer
* Kärcher FJ6 Foam Jet Nozzle with 0.6L Capacity Foamer for Pressure Washer Accessory
* Autoglym Polar Blast 2.5L
* Autoglym Polar Seal 1L
* Autoglym Polar Wash 2.5L

30-40? Depends how much you dilute it. It ends up being a very easy and effective wash. Buy this -

I find it easier to use than a mitt with the polar wash.
