Not sure who else watches this guy’s videos but I really like his reviews. Structured, detailed, balanced and importantly, not sponsored so they’re honest.

Latest video from him is the snow foam shootout.

Really worth a watch, but for thos of us already using these products I don’t think you’ll find the results surprising.

I have used quite a few myself and can see why bilt hamber is the best. What I have been using for the last couple of years.

Gave the inside a good clean, it needed it! Steering wheel needs a real scrub, not sure the best way to do it. Might just stump up for a retrim.

I love this channel. Just saw some of the ph values, no wonder some of those clean so well!

The Polar Seal is still beading well after 2 weeks but tempted to give it a quick once over with Meguiars Ultimate Quik Wax tomorrow, another product that's really easy to apply. :)

The instruction says add 40ml and “add at least 200ml of water”, and it also says do not use more than 40ml as it “it can compromise performance”. That’s the exact wording, the lance has a 1L capacity...do I add 1L of water?

It doesn’t actually say 40ml per 200ml of water...surely the “at least” wording is misleading, since it’s not like I can mix 40ml with a swimming pool full of water and use that and expect the same result.

How much did you dilute yours?

I think I did as instructed but the 200ml went pretty quickly so used another 200ml, trial and error I guess.

Same here. Added 400ml to the lance with 8 cap fulls. You only need a brief spray over the car, but it soon goes. Left the rest in the lance, seems fine for now.

The beading was still there, but after 2-3 weeks a top up seems to have fully restored the beading and shine. Probably wasn’t needed, but I am not worried about ‘wasting’ it as I’ll just buy more of this fantastic product.

Think I’ll try the BH foam next time.

Crazy shine on the car that would otherwise take me ages. Need to polish it soon though.

How do you avoid the windscreen? No doubt some will get on the windscreen.

I had run out of wheel cleaner, having gone through 5L of Sonax stuff (which I thought was very good), so I ordered BH Auto Wheel (5L) after recommendations from several here. It really is excellent, and despite my quiet doubts, better than the Sonax I used previously. Still need to actually agitate it to get the wheels properly clean mind you, but it's superb stuff.

An arbitrary figure but I judge it as twice as good, that is I get twice the purple stuff out with it compared to the Sonax, which I thought was pretty good previously.
