I hope so!
In the end I had to use the car the same day I applied the coats. It didn't get wet though and it did sit for about 4-5 hours before I drove it. Hopefully that won't have any effect on it at all.
Looking forward to some wet weather or cleaning it again to see the sheeting action!

had one as my first pressure washer! was decent, never had any issues.

plenty powerful for car washing.

Brilliant, thanks!! I originally set my sights on the worx cordless (not because I wanted cordless) as something which could pull water out of a container, but looking at the stats it's seemed a bit crap. Then I stumbled across the bosch which seemed to tick all the boxes. Found an opened box one for £49 so took a punt. Now all I need is a bag of resin.

I got the Bosch 120 on the prime day deal, needed something solely for doing a quick clean of the car, and was easy to store, seems decent enough!

Just ordered a bosch easyaqua 100 to take pure water from a plastic container.
so will these suck water from a bucket or, like a water butt do you need a take-off at the base ?

And will produce you 3000 litres of water for £260
you have to consider water hardness too, we have 300ppm calcium carbonate which reduces volume 30% from 1000litres at 200ppm to some 700,
but yes - relative price per litre will remain, unless specced differently.

Sucks up from a bucket, which is exactly what I wanted. Using two di vessels to filter water into 2 25l containers. Then I'll use the bosch to suck it out onto the car.

Specifically wanted the 100 model as the flow rate is bang on.

The days of me washing a car with tap water are over.

Wasn't ideal that you drove the car before the recommended 24hr cure time was over. Dont forget to apply 'Cure' to it, or similar product such as C2v3. Should have been applied to a clean car tbh.

Best stuff I've used is the same stuff we use for the dog if he ever has any accidents, Simple Solution Stain and Odour.

That breaks down things like milk etc and really helps get rid of oodurs, if that doesn't work, you'll need to do a proper warm water wash using a rug doctor or other carpet cleaner, then use the stain and Odour remover as a final treatment.

You can of course try regular carpet cleaner but it doesn't tens to neutralise odours as well

Had a new Raceglaze to try for the last two cleans, have to say it's absolutely garbage. I live in a very hard water area and the Raceglaze, while it made the water better, still left horrible water marks all over my car on both occasions. I know @kindai raves about them, but I was previously put off them by negative reviews from a couple of local car detailers and people who have used them but decided to try one anyway as I had the chance to try it for free, but can definitely see why they get such negative press round here

My Pure Final Rinse however is excellent, much prefer it and I'm yet to see a proper mark left over when using it. I'm surprised as well that after about 10-12 uses, the highest reading I've seen is 0.06ppm

Definitely recommend them if you are looking at maybe getting a Raceglaze instead. Don't waste your money

The science behind how ion exchange vessels work mean this is absolute BS on the highest level.

What was the PPM of the water coming out the raceglaze?

...so because I say something that you have spent money on doesn’t work, for me, that means it’s bs? Are you a moron? How does that even work?

I literally said why in my first line. Ill add a conclusion to it - The filter, or more specifically the resin isnt new.

Any device capable of forcing the water through fresh exchange resin will result in low PPM water output. If one device works the other will also work. You dont have some magic Oxfordshire water that will mean one device works while the other doesnt.

@Steedie, it does seem a bit odd that two products using the same technologies can be so far apart in terms of performance when using the same base-ppm level. I am getting more interested in filters so I would be interested in trying to understand why you think one is better than the other. Both have good reviews and the Raceglaze option is significantly cheaper over time due to refill costs.

What @TheOracle posted is a good way of buying it also, find yourself a di vessel on ebay and refil it with new resin.
