Hi all,

I appreciate I asked this in the other thread, however also likely an answer here :)

I seem to have got a minor scratch on my drivers side leather seat (potentially done by a service centre - although no way to actually prove it). Looks fairly minor so I wanted to give it a go at repairing/touching up myself. Can anyone recommend a suitable product please?

Many thanks :)

I’ve heard (Read a review and comparison) Autobrite Magifoam does a better job than their Superfoam especially during the winter months.

Magifoam at the recommended dosage is LSP safe.

It’s a couple of quid more though.

I got some Autobrite Magifoam to go with my K5 and MTM Hydro PF22.2
Will probably have to wait until next weekend, but I'd be interested to see how it deals with 6 months' worth of grime after I had the BMW detailed...

Halfords have some black friday deals on pressure washers, the Nilfisk ones, with the full auto accessory kit, from £100 - £170 for the Core 125, 130 and 140 if anyone was looking for one?

How much?
Not big money £150 and I am not expecting the 3 day job I had done on my R8.

I want it cleaned with car, dried with care and a decent inside and outside job done really.

For full correction and ceramic job I would take it to the people I used before.

Horrible time of year again. No matter what you do the car will get filthy. Doesn't help that my place of work is in the middle of about 10 farmers fields! Mud and dirt all over.

No pics, but the Autobrite Magifoam stuck to the cars like **** to a blanket. Can highly recommend the MTM Hydro PF22.2 if you've got a powerful pressure washer.

I'm a complete newbie when it comes to this foam lance pressure washing business, but surely there's no way to remove all of the dirt without physically washing the car after a deep soak and pressure wash? Sure, it removed 95% of the crap off my dad's BMW which was ceramic coated last month, but it won't shift all the fly residue or some grime on the bottom of the doors without a mitt, even with some Auto Finesse Citrus Power! That, and if you miss a spot with the pressure washer it's painfully obvious :o

Purpose of foam is to loosen and remove as much as possible to lessen the risk of swirls.
