What are we talking here? Weekly?
Depends on time of year I guess. I did ceramic on mine, quick foam and its fairly clean but still needs a hand wash!

No pics, but the Autobrite Magifoam stuck to the cars like **** to a blanket. Can highly recommend the MTM Hydro PF22.2 if you've got a powerful pressure washer.
I'm a complete newbie when it comes to this foam lance pressure washing business, but surely there's no way to remove all of the dirt without physically washing the car after a deep soak and pressure wash? Sure, it removed 95% of the crap off my dad's BMW which was ceramic coated last month, but it won't shift all the fly residue or some grime on the bottom of the doors without a mitt, even with some Auto Finesse Citrus Power! That, and if you miss a spot with the pressure washer it's painfully obvious![]()
Had a local car washing and detailing guy come to home and clean my Merc yesterday. He did a fair job for a fair price as I was looking for someone who could come and wash the car regularly. Spent close to 4 hours as it was filthy and now looks shiny and hoovered. Will post up some pictures later.
Probably been asked before, but if I wanted a full car cleaning set, any links? Up to £100.
LB Detailing in the same business unit as it turns out. I’ve not used SCC recently but recommend them for a serious detail. LB was about regular home cleaning over a detailing.Out of interest who was it? Have you used Staffordshire Car Care again recently?
Depends what you class as a set I guess!
What state is your car in, new/old?
Looking to just wash it or "detail" it?
Got a pressure washer?
Got a foam lance?
It's a nearly 12 year old Mini. I get it done at a local hand car wash usually but because I live in an area full of trees its constantly covered in crap.
Needs a proper good detail tbh and I'd rather do it myself. Live in a flat but have a car park I could use with buckets of water etc. The entire paintwork needs decontaminating and green tree debris sorted.
Not sure you can get a whole kit for it but you can just go on a detailing site and pick everything. Might struggle with rinsing a little unless can get a hose or something.
Cheers I'll do that and watch some youtube videos aswell. If need be I can borrow my mums drive for the day but it's not ideal.
Can spend £100 pretty easy.
Actually, Halfords have a Meguiars kit which isn't too bad. £65
Meguiars Hybrid Ceramic Winter Kit | Halfords UK
Add in a clay mitt to decon when cleaned and some quick detailer for the mitt.
Farecla G3 Pro Deep Clean Clay Mitt | Halfords UK
Farecla G3 Pro Rapid Detailer 500ml | Halfords UK
Halfords Supersoft Microfibre Towel | Halfords UK
But worth having a look around some detailing sites see if there are any offers, can build your own kit/choose exactly what you need.
First time I've noticed the interiorMerc interiors need moar chrome!![]()
....I also purchased EZ car cares Halloween version of their fusion as it was on sale at £16 delivered. Fusion is their spray on power wash off ceramic infused finish..
Quick question, has anyone had much luck claying without (machine) polishing afterwards?
I've already used fallout and tar remover but the paintwork is still rough and could really do with claying but the majority of forum posts and videos suggest you really shouldn't clay without polishing afterwards (due to marring etc). Was wondering if you can get away with it using a soft clay (was looking at BH) or even a Farecla clay mitt or similar as long as use use plenty of water/clay lube?
Is Fusion worth it at £15/20 mark?
Just spotted that EZ Car Care have 75% off from 12PM tomorrow, so wondering if it's worth getting....
