I'll probably get shot for saying so, but I just use Leather wipes available from Halfords @ ~£3 a pot. They do a good job of lifting the crap, and restoring some depth (Although my Leather is only about a year old, no idea how it'd fair with something more worn).

If it's worn then you need leather restorer from a pro outlet, it's hard work and requires great patience so may well be better taking it into a specialist.

Autoglym Leather Cleaner spray and Leather feed (in that order) are best used to keep undamaged leather in good condition for years if used every few months.

Not shiny enough until you can see yourself!

All you've done there is advertise the fact you wear naff shoes:p

?? Those shoes were win, I wear normal shoes, not moon boots and stuff some of you lot wear :p

Plus, they were old shoes which I use for car washing!

Had the Nilfisk a long time now and i's been a joy to use, still packs its original punch and still in robust condition considering it's been left out in the shed the last few months so has seen through many cold nights but gets used every week at least twice.

It is better quality than any Karcher under £100 too (a relative got a Karcher on offer recently and the Nilfisk is much better for performance and quality).

Robbie where did you get it from, im sure you have mentioned it before. Cant remember though. My Halfrauds special is starting to show signs of abuse.

While it looks funky and it may attract the ladies it no where near looks like a professionally well built piece of kit like the Nilfisk does :)

What accessories did you get? I'd be interested in a few if you're ok to sell them on?

Will have to see which fittings my snow foam lance has. quite like the look of the new Halfords range and their website has some good deals on returned pressure washers.

I found the best stocked range of Nilfisk domestic pressue washers at Machine Mart: http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/categories/search/domestic-power-washers/filter/nilfisk

I purchased this one: http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/nilfisk-c110-3-5-x-tra-domestic-cold-water-pre/path/domestic-power-washers

Great product and even better price!

Wow i'm checking on screwfix and it seems they've upped the price of these! must have been getting a lot of demand.

I'm sure i paid £100 for the pressure washer with accessories and now its £129.99

£103.48 at Machine Mart! :D

Right.

Got my car back this week with its nicely freshly painted front end.

Obviously I'd like to get it all waxed etc but how long must I wait to do this? Does it need a polish with SRP first or straight to the wax/sealant?

The bodyshop/dealer will have waxed it after a fresh paint anyway so just seal unless you really want to polish it anyway.

Do the beading test to confirm.
