Will bumper care rejuvenate black trim in general? I was using the WD40 trick, but it doesn't always seem to last that long.

WD40 on a rag usually works but you're best washing the plastic again afterwards. I can try this on your behalf if you want, I did a terrible job on the SAAB!

Loving the Penta alloys Captain Planet, the car looks stunning and well kept considering its age and Honda Crayola™ paint.

I thought the Pentas were an excellent and easy swap for the standard prelude ones. I got them cheap 2nd hand although they are moderately curbed I don't know if I CBA to have them refurbed - might be worth it just to tidy it completely. I know what youre saying about the paint it does chip easily hence me piling on the layers of protection :D

Months of hiding under pine trees and neglect = :(

2 bucket method.
Meguiars gold class car wash.
Clean your car wash mit.
A towel to dry.
Clay bar off clean your car.
SRP + buffing towel off clean you car.
Collonite 476 + buffing towel off clean your car.

Really just preparing her for the winter and helping her to last a few more years before I buy something special. Still a great workhorse, had her since I was 16 and has never really let me down. Only problem now is that both front electric windows have stopped working, and multimeter + taking the car apart will involve too much time. TFI Winter :D

What do you fancy?

Only you would do hunny, you must know that ;)

Still eyeing up a nice M12 GTO3 or a 3R. Insurance and Tax arn't a whole lot more than the 'Sunny spells with a chance of rain'. I could just buy one now if I lose my mind, but then house deposit would add up to a grand total of 3p.

Not good thinking at all, although tempting :D

I have a rookie question, what removes EGP? I put a layer on a few weeks ago and it's lasting ok, if i wash the car will it remove it? Thus requiring another layer being added?

its amazing how a clay bar rids of the contaminants on paint. after a quick machine polish the paint is literaly better than new

Had the Nilfisk a long time now and i's been a joy to use, still packs its original punch and still in robust condition considering it's been left out in the shed the last few months so has seen through many cold nights but gets used every week at least twice.

It is better quality than any Karcher under £100 too (a relative got a Karcher on offer recently and the Nilfisk is much better for performance and quality).
