The Carling Cup Semi-Final Second Leg 24/25 January *** Spoilers ***

I think Liverpool can easily do United on Saturday, been saying it all week to my mates, just have that edge about them in cups. League is just same old hat for them for years and years.

Cardiff v Liverpool in the Carling Cup final.

They may be underdogs, but I think Liverpool can pull it off next month.

Cracking match, what I love about cup games, near to the final everyone goes for it, reminds me of Arsenal vs Wigan 2nd leg, what a game that was!

I bet you was about 6 back then

My god, some proper whopper City fans calling into Your on Sky Sports (first time i've listened to this, can't find the remote! haha)

"Fact is, if the FA want to do something right for a change they will take a goal off Liverpool and put City through as rightful winners!"

Wonder what his second account is...

He probably just quoted himself rather than Tom's reply tbf to him. It would have been a typical cheets response to what Tom said anyway.

Bit of a shame a completely bogus penalty stopped City being beaten fairly, and that Gerrard had to score it :(

Bellamy, as always, a great player and City were beyond daft to get rid of him. Just thinking about exactly what City were lacking, especially without a form Yaya, is someone who will get the ball and really drive forward. Richards does it as much as he can but you can't rely on him to do it all for you.

The sheer lack of City getting the ball forward fast enough is ridiculous, for pretty much two months now they've been passing sideways, Silva has been rubbish, Nasri was barely alive throughout the game and when the offence isn't clicking the defence is under more pressure and Korolov/Savic/Lescott made a bunch of mistakes between them.

Oh yeah I was suppose to quote Tom the hardened Man U fan that goes home and sometimes away, yeah right.

HE HAS TO PICK A TEAM, I cant pick my postcode :D

Peace out
