The Championship & League 1/2/Conf Play-off Semi-Final/Final Thread *** Spoilers***

I hate the guy!

Anyway, Birmingham are truely ****ed now, their finances are dire and I think it was make or break for this season. Zigic is on more a week then the whole Leeds squad! Looks like Hughton will be off to WBA and their star Redmond will be snapped up.

Bad times.

Just got back from the game, although i'm sad i'm really proud of how the team have tackle all these games. We have had some great memories such as playing in the Europa League. Tonight's atmosphere was amazing, but letting those 2 goals in was heartbreaking. Thankfully that got us going but we just fell at the last hurdle.

Special mention of course to Chris Hughton who has done a brilliant job and I hope he stays, but I think that may be a long shot. Although the chairman has stated that an investor as been identified, but whether or not they will invest is another point.

Well done to Blackpool and good luck to them and West Ham in the final. Lets just hope we can mount another successful season this summer and hopefully we be playing in the PL in the future.

:( had the mouse poised to bet on a draw between Stevenage and United... (despite watching tv instead of the game)

Either way still think it'll be a Stevenage vs Huddersfield final

Anyone going to watch Crewe v Southend? I'm not a big Football fan but Crewe is my hometown team so I'll be hoping they win.

But Crewe have a player called Nick Powell that is being chased by a lot of PL teams (Man Utd, Tottenham, Liverpool and Everton to name a few). I'm told that he is better than Dean Ashton ever was for Crewe. Will be interesting to see how he goes in a 'big game'.

Nick Powell has had a great season, will deffo be playing in the top 2 tiers in the near future I think.

I was there, Powell had a quiet game, Southend made a real effort to get at him and stop him having any of the ball. We have played better, but that is now 17 games un beaten.

As for the talent, 8 of today's team were academy graduates. Max Clayton and Nick Powell are the two players that are talked about the most but Tootle, Westwood and Murphy are all rumoured to be targets for Championship clubs.

Got 2 quid on Stevenage (my left over money from yesterday) to pull off an upset and get to the final!

If they win its all on Stevenage to go up (again)

Thing is though, it really wouldn't be an upset. It is ridiculous how awful we have been since the whole Ched Evans thing.. We've been pathetic.

Yeah the Ched Evans thing really hasn't helped. Still consider it an upset just because they have been promoted twice in two seasons...

Wow, United to the final! Most likely to play Huddersfield, not one id like to call as United seemed to have a fair bit about them this evening (to a strong Stevenage) but Huddersfield had been pretty good this season too

Hoping for a Blackpool win today, as I like the way they have played this season. Should be a good game

Also got something riding on York getting promoted, so need them to pull through tomorrow.
