Well done West Ham, can't stand Holloway so I'm happy.
I remember someone saying in here that Vaz Te was the worst signing in the transfer window, he's been one of the best tbh, so many important goals scored.

, he was naff against us both at Barnsley and West Ham... Though in reality he's proven me wrong massively, scored most of their key goals and made Sam's tactics work.

By all accounts they weren't aware of relegation so it's probably news to them there are lower leagues.

That also ignores the fact that West Ham had the basis of a team to go up first time anyway and really weren't a bad enough team to go down, they had 3/4 of the first team injured at various stages of the previous season, almost anyone up to and including Everton would have struggled in similar circumstances.
West Ham's problem is the budget with which Fat Sam wants to work in, IE, buy loads, pay high wages, and make a huge loss. Though they've really got a squad now that doesn't need massive changes to stay up in the prem league, Reid/Tomkins are a very good pair, McCartney is good enough, Demel, maybe, Taylor, terrible again at left back today, much stronger at left wing. Noble, nolan, fine but not brilliant, Cole, a freaking battering ram. Vaz te/Collison are good enough.
While they don't need many changes, they are already on BIG wages and premiership money isn't going to leave them with a huge amount of extra money to cover wages.
Fat Sam can put together a working(but not pretty) team, business wise, he's a blight on football.
Anyway, good game, some fantastic performances from Tomkins, Cole, some good performances around the west and a couple terrible performances.

Fair play to West Ham. I would rather have Blackpool gone up due to the arrogance of some of the West Ham fans I have met this season, but they ended up third in the league and ten points over fourth, so they deserve it.
Well done West Ham, they are my local team but i dont support them. Mind you my mate who lives in West Ham is absolutely raging that they are back in the EPL lol. He has absolutely no love for them, in fact he supports Villa of all teams
