**The Chicken Wing Thread**

I'm not a huge fan of chicken wings normally (I like them but they're a faff to eat). However, whilst galantining a chicken recently I made some "chicken lollipops" from the leftover wings, drenched them in chipotle and then cooked in a hot oven until they were crispy. Tasted so amazing and none of the usual faff of chicken wings :)

I bought some more yesterday. The kids bloody love wings. I made up some BBQ sauce as well, so will do them on the BBQ smoke them right out with a small bit of the Basic BBQ rub and then this homemade BBQ sauce on them, keep them mopped as I cook so they go all sticky.

More pics of that too :D Naturally.

BBQ rub and BBQ sauce, sticky, smokey wings. Mmmm

I usually go for a tandoori style wing as I only have the oven at the moment, hopefully bbq soon... the alton brown way does actually work well, tried it a few times...
just wondering, do all you guys leave the wings whole for cooking? I always trim off the tips and split the wings before marinading
