Begging for help here, using Comixology on IPad Air but it has suddenly gone into guided mode. I can’t stand it now I’ve checked the settings and it says it’s not on guided mode but it only flicks from panel to panel. I much prefer scroll and zoom, I have the ipad in landscape and scroll vertically.

This is now bugging me beyond belief. I’m halfway through a comic and it seems to have swapped and I can’t get back.
Does anyone have a suggested solution.

I had a similar issue, toggled the settings and it was on, I think if you double tap on the screen it zooms back out. If not it might be a pinch in and out to get it back. I don't have the iPad charged atm so I can't check this.

EDIT: Just checked, its double tab on the panel and it should zoom back to full page. Landscape does panel view automatically and you can't get out of it, vertically it will show full page.
 
Any alternatives to buying comics digitally other than humble bundles and comixology?

Refuse to buy anything on Comixology since amazon have ruined it and don't really want to get the content the naughty way.

Thx for taking the time to answer much appreciated. I'll give that a try tonight when I get home from work.
 
This thread seems a little dead but probably the best place for it.

Has anyone else found buying comics off Amazon is less compelling than buying them off the old Comixology website? I look at my collection and I've barely bought anything I wasn't already invested in prior to the move. I think Once and Future by Kieron Gillen is the only new comic and I'd read other stuff by him before.

When it was comixology I used to check out the sales at least once a week and picked up stuff that I would never have bought otherwise. Amazon as an interface and quality of offers has just stopped me finding new stuff to read.

Anyone else feel the same way?

Amazon has killed Comixology for me, did mention in here last year that i'm not using it out of principle anymore - they've taken a fantastic platform and removed the life from it - just tedious to scroll through and find new stuff anymore.

Had an itch to read some Marvel comics and saw the newly rebooted Ultimates Universe. So I have a few back issues on the way for Ultimate Spider-man and Ultimate X-men. I also have Ultimate Invasion coming that is the mini series that reboots/sets the scene for the Ultimate universe.

I've heard good things about these new comics. I haven't got Ultimate Black Panther but I do have Ultimates on pre-order (aka Avengers).

See my post above. Ultimate Universe has been rebooted. I’ve just taken delivery of some of the back issues and signed up to reoccurring subscription on these. Just waiting for Ultimate Black Panther to arrive and Ultimates to release.
