Too many boring threads recently, so hopefully this one will be entertaining and bring slight amusement... or at least that's the plan
There is a psychological game called 'the cube' and we are going to play it. This requires your full co-operation and concentration. Pay close attention at the back! The whole idea is that you subconsciously reveal some 'truths' about yourself by answering the following questions honestly. It might take a minute or three but it'll be worth it and we'll get a giggle out of some of the responses. At the end of my post in spoiler tags, I'll give you my answers and some other amusing ones I have heard.
VERY IMPORTANT:
If you want to do this properly, do not click on the spoiler explanations below or read any other posts before your have read the game and answered the questions yourself. You need to take a few moments to think to give a decent answer.
ONLY LOOK AT THE NEXT SENTENCE AFTER YOU HAVE SPENT SEVERAL MOMENTS ON THE PREVIOUS ONE AND DON'T LOOK AHEAD WITHOUT ANSWERING THE QUESTIONS IN ORDER. TAKE SEVERAL MOMENTS TO THINK AND BE HONEST WITH YOUR FIRST THOUGHTS. SPEND A MOMENT ON EACH SENTENCE
ANOTHER IMPORTANT POINT - all items you describe must be original!
So... here we go...
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Imagine nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Forget everything and everyone and concentrate on nothingness for a few moments

Done that?
Right, imagine a desert. This desert is the 'scene' for the entire game. And right in the middle of this scene is a cube.
PICTURE THE CUBE.
Describe the cube. What does it look like? Where is it (in the sky on the ground)? Is it big? Is there anything of particular interest about it? Think about it in detail and spend a few moments doing so.

Now that you have described your cube, there is something else in the the scene.... a ladder.
PICTURE THE LADDER
Describe the ladder. Where is it in relation to the cube? How is it positioned? Again, think about it in detail and spend a few moments doing so.

Once again, there is something else in your scene! This time.... a storm!
PICTURE THE STORM
Describe the storm. Where is it in relation to the cube? Where does it sit in the scene? Is it going anywhere?

You know the drill by now... there is again something else in your scene. This time out of all things.... a horse.
PICTURE THE HORSE
Describe the horse. What does it look like? What is it doing? Where is it in relation to the other things mentioned in the scene? Is there anything of particular notice? How do you feel about it?
---------------------------------------------------------------

Don't worry, it's the final thing. For the last time, there is something else in your scene... flowers.
PICTURE THE FLOWERS
Describe the flowers in your scene. As always, where are they? How do you feel about them?

Underneath with the second spoiler, you will get the shocking truth behind my own answers

So what was that all about?
Well, the idea is that each of the 'items' represents something about you as a person. I'll go through one by one in turn:
THE CUBE:
If you didn't guess, the cube represents yourself and how you view yourself. A big cube might represent arrogance or self importance, whilst a smaller cube might represent insecurity. A cube on the ground represents level headedness whilst a floating cube might indicate a dreamer or a flounderer, and so on and so forth.
I have heard of all sorts of cubes, big floating ones, see through ones, tiny ones etc and it's surprising how it sometimes links up to what your impressions are of that person. Oh and yes, I added in the line in the instructions about items being original because so many people ruin the game by saying it's a rubics cube, gits
The LADDER:
The ladder represents your ambition. Most notably, if the ladder was close to your cube, this would imply that your ambitions are linked to who you really are as a person, particularly if the ladder and cube are touching. A flat ladder or a ladder far away might imply that you aren't really sure on where you are going with yourself.
THE STORM:
This is the easiest one to guess, the storm represents you worries and troubles and how they affect your life. Did your storm cover the entire horizon? This might imply that you are letting your worries consume you. On the other hand, one girl I knew said her storm cloud was a cartoon one with a smiley face...!
THE HORSE:
Ok, now it gets interesting! The horse represents... your lover or love interest! Like the ladder, the proximity to the cube is key and it's pretty easy to start doing some analysis depending on what the horse is doing. For example, I've heard of horses climbing the ladder to mount the cube! For the other end of the spectrum... see what I answered below
THE FLOWERS:
Finally, the flowers represent your children, or prospective children and what you think about the subject. Knowing I was going to play the game, I asked someone what they thought about having kids and they loathed the idea... I was fairly amused that when playing the game they described their flowers as "all dead"
Type up what you thought and what you think it means

Oh dear, this really was incredibly miserable. The game was done to me face to face with icecold (OCUK member)... the look on his face when I answered some of these questions was truly priceless
These are typed up to the best of my knowledge as how I said them:
MY CUBE:
"Well, first, it's very very small. Tiny. And it's pitch black. The blackest of blacks"
"... errr..... anything else"
"Yep. I know that it's incredibly heavy. Nobody could possibly pick it up"
MY LADDER:
"The ladder is flat on the floor, lying across the sand horizontally. It's somewhere in the distance, near the horizon"
MY STORM:
"Yeah, it's covering the entire sky. Big, black, brooding. Thunder and lightning, really violent. Where's it going? It's not going anywhere, it's there to stay"
MY HORSE:
"It's off in the distance again. It's a dot on the horizon, walking away from the cube"
"...............! Anything else"
I swear to god I did not make this up - "yeah, I know one thing for sure. I know it's going to die"
MY FLOWERS:
"There are a few of them scattered all over the place, but they're all dead"
"All dead"
"Yep! Pretty horrible really"
This was the end of the conversation:
"So... what does all that mean? What have you got to tell me?
"
"........ dude..... you really need to go and see a shrink......"
"
"
