Im so buying one! :D At last something to play!!

Not for a while though...

Noticed on one site that the release date for this on the PS3 is 20th of July and then double checked it and it seems it's the same on all.

I thought this was a simultaneous release?

Anyhoo, the 360 version comes out next Friday.

Get mine next week form the good old US of A (well Canada I think) no delays there for the PS3 version, not sure why there's one here, very slow boat maybe? :D
Ill be on me hols which is a bit of a pain but at least ill have something to look forward too.

Surprise surprise :(

Its as if PS3 owners are getting taunted by good games then they keep delaying them.

It is very frustrating at the moment but I honestly think the future is bright for this console, now is deffinately not the time to own a PS3 if your an impaitient person, but by later this year I think there will be some good times.

Why does PS3 consistently get screwed?

Oblivion, R6: Vegas, GRAW2, The Darkness...

What's next. The console has only been out 4 months and 4 major titles have had major delays behind its biggest rival.

The Darkness is more like Spider-man 3 a delay just in Europe/UK. This means the game is actually released in other terretories on Fri/Mon same as the 360 version. The delay is probably down to a rubbish UK distributor as Spider-man 3 was.

The other games you mentioned are genuine delays worldwide.

In situations like this the fact that all PS3 games are region free is a bonus. if you look at the example of Forza 2 on 360. It was released 2 weeks earlier in Asia and 1 week earlier in the USA but because of region locks we couldn't get those. You can just order the PS3 version from usa/canada for less than the UK rrp.

Both 360 version and ps3 version are released on 25th June according to an import site.

I'll be getting this, my mate used to some of the Darkness and Witchblade comics. Seems a good idea for a game, very dark and gruesome but looks like it could be a lot of fun as well. I enjoyed Riddick, so if its its as good as that i'm sold.

I've gone for the UK version, what about you?

Both ordered on import, think The darkness was about £37 delivered, and is released monday in the states rather than the 20th July. NGS ive pre ordered the collectors edition (US Only) from the states for £44 delivered. The only problem with getting US version is that you have to make sure that youre TV is capable of displaying NTSC (most have for years) and that I dont think you can trade the games in, but you could always bay them. They normally take a few days I ordered Oblivon from canada a while back and it took 3 days to get here so its not slow.

Could you mail me (addy in trust) where you got them from? I might cancel my UK order.

Cheers dude :)
