I've just downloaded the demo and played it for a short while. I didn't think much of it really and as for the intro (I'm assuming the intro in the deom was the same as the full game - car chase through tunnel), it was awful.

I got by virtue of having put the pad down to listen to the story. Then I got killed. Never put the pad down in this game :D
 
Having problems with the construction out fit and the last part of the vinny quest. Cant find the window that should be open....

This is the garage it says goto....



Look directly right from there as it says to first floor....

Neither windows are open

 
Excuse the excruciatingly poor BT connection I have, images should have opened in about 25 minutes.

EDIT: Wow, that's REALLY odd because that's definitely the right window. I've heard about some little bugs in it, but that's a really annoying one. I take it you're still on Act3 when trying to do it, you haven't attempted to continue the task on Act5?

Just found this on xbox.com...

If you're having as hard a time getting that last, 5th, guy at Gun Hill...

There's a GLITCH!!!!!

I finally got him, when you get out of the subway tunnel at gun hill, make a left, go almost to the end & on a wall on the right you'll see the word "MACE" spraypainted.

The window you need to go in is directly above this.

If the window is dark & closed, you need to go talk to Vinnie AGAIN!

He'll tell you the same thing about one last guy & you'll get "Objective Updated" again.

NOW that window should be open, use creeping dark to get the guy, & the minion outfit inside!!!

Ah, excellent, glad you have a way out of it. I never experienced it but like I said, I'd heard of daft glitches like that.
If you're playing on Hard remember not to play any multiplayer in between your campaign.
 
Thanks mate, I'm just playing normal. Thanks for your help, that one was a bitch. Cost me an hour of trying windows :(

Thought it was worth highlighting for others.

yeah i know, really looking forward to that, riddick was by far by faver game on the xbox. Im hoping they'll do another Riddick game at some point, the character is fantastic and the universe has a lot of potential for storylines.

Just gone through it twice now and finished with 6 collectables short!! :mad:

CBA to go through it again.

Still don't think it's as good as what people have made out, bit overrated, but a good game nevertheless.

Strangely from the reviews i've read 7 out of 10's etc, I think its under rated. Only let down for me is the weapons. You just end up using pistols and darkness pistols.

This game shows the difference an absorbing and in depth story can make. Without it I agree it would be poor.

You know you only need the Letters in Acts 2 and 4 (totalling 27). You can just phone in the collectables from Acts 1,3 and 5?

So for the collector achievement I needn't have searched them all out.

Just need 3 SP achievements now I think...

Tunnel workers
7 enemies in 15 seconds
6 airplanes

Can I get them by reloading sections?

Paulie was too easy. No satisfaction in that at all. I was looking forward to an excecution killing. :(

No didn't know, that, but then again it's sods law that I haven't picked'em up from there. Was 100% sure I did, but might be wrong.

Where's the numbers?

The planes is quite easy tbh, if you haven't shot down 4-5 planes by the first encampment start the checkpoint again.

I was lucky with the roadkill achievement, I got it first go before I even knew it was an achievement, but I never shot 7 people I can tell you that :p.

Yeah, just reload one of the acts. Unfortunately you have to play through an act to get to that section.

Yeah I re-loaded a section and have decided I cant be bothered. Once I know the bug for hard has been patched I will play it through again.

Gonna get the planes one as thats right near the start of act 4. Easy 50g.

Good game, enjoyed it. Wish there was more enemies, the Mansion is about the only part I thought had a decent amount of enemies. The trenches turned out to be my fav section. Probably because there was none of that constant station hopping. Also when you get the lighting flash and the dead Soldiers flash up infront I was trigger happy more than once :D

Definately an 8 out of 10 game for me.
 
The only bug with hard is if you play multiplayer in the middle of the campaign. I got the 'hard' achievement.

If you just do your campaign through without selecting MP you will get it, you don't need to worry about it :).
