The Day Before (MMO/Zombie survival)

Lol they are twins? I reckon they are like the Olsen "twins", just one person moving REALLY REALLY fast to appear as if there are two people.

Greetings, dear players! In this hotfix, we addressed the most critical issues with the game and improved overall performance. Now, you will encounter the infected more often and receive 5 times more Woodcoins for completing the tasks. Read the full changelog below!

Patch 1.0.2 Changelog:

• Improved game and net code performance
• Improved the mechanics of the spawning of the infected to increase the chance of encountering them in the world
• Improved first and third-person shooting performance
• Increased task rewards from 1000 to 5000 Woodcoins
• Adjusted the amount of ammo that can be found from the dead infected
• Added option to change the keys for tilting the character left and right
• Fixed various ways of duplicating items
• Fixed that the alarm sound could play indefinitely
• Fixed that one of the backpacks could disappear when swapping backpacks
• Fixed that after going to the main menu from the tutorial, it was possible to appear in Leonard's room while the current quest target was already out of the room
• Fixed that GPS Map control was not performed with the same buttons as character control
• Small fixes to the Storage to prevent items from being lost
• Small fixes to prevent spawning outside of Leonard's room
• Small fixes to resolution settings
• Small sound improvements
• Small localization fixes

Some streamers are still happily (somehow) playing this, like Sacriel for example, though he even admitted on stream that he is fine with using dupe exploits because "everyone else is doing it so I'm not going to disadvantage myself". Which surprised me tbh as he never struck me before as someone who would use exploits or justify using them because others are so why not

He would defend it given he did the exact same thing with breaking point standalone… only difference is he took everyone’s money and didn’t release a game.

This is actually quite a fascinating watch...a group call with some of the volunteer devs who worked on Day Before. Its a long video but really interesting look behind the scenes at what went on during the development of this "game"

WTF!

Company shuts down

That's a new record. Release asset flip, make a few million, announce the company has been closed and game is no longer supported and owner of company make off with a couple million to enjoy

Win win

And by the way guys, the game sold 201k copies so far lmao

Literal scam and 201k people fall for it, that's why this will keep happening

Please Valve, stop allowing self publishing on steam

201,000 x £33.50 , thats a fair dollop of dosh for a game created from a $1000 of Unreal store assets.
