It's that time again uni folks!

Also, it happens to be my final year. I'm 6000 words deep in to mine, plenty of research done too. Going to spend the next week doing the testing in the labs, then a week writing the rest up, should be around 15000 when its done.

Hand in date 23rd April, so panic stations have not set in just yet. I can feel the fear approaching though!

How is everyone else getting on?

Edit. FYI, Mine is entirely based around Cisco IOS QoS Implementation, quite generic, but the supervisor likes it.

Ted, your not allowed to answer, I know you did yours in like a week and got 1st - **** :D

Mines due in on the 9th of may. Not written any of the actual document yet its self (has to be around 12k~+ words) but have done 6k lines of code and hope to finish the software by the end of this week.

Edit: Mines on Fighting Internet Phishing attempts.

Mine's due in January next year, so we're only just winding up to them really. I've decided on a title and done a bit of background reading but I've already done most of the work for it over the last few years. "The annual cycling of gonadal maturation and moult in three species of raptors." Should be being stuck in a journal when I'm done with it.

Good luck to everyone in the middle of them now :)

8734 lines of code written, none of the actual report which is worth 90% (which is a joke, in my opinion, because the project is the actually useful part). Hope to have to software finished by the end of the week though.

Haha sounds like mine as well. The code's not actually marked but I need it to get some results to evaluate with. So I decided to not put that much effort into it writing a perfect system and just hacked it together. :p

8th May - 10K limit

Next 2 weeks blitz!

To do: Prototype construction and polished documentation as far as possible

5000 words already written usable i think

GL to all

I wish I could do that :D. If mines successful it's going to be marketed (I'm basically working with a system to track children/buses using GPS and plot it with Google Maps) so I have to make sure it's pretty tight. Even if my University will own the rights to it :(.

I'm doing a degree in Police Studies. Always had an interest in that specific area, I've got a broad knowledge and good understanding of it already, so it seemed like a good choice. Figured it would stop be from getting bored or sick of it, which it has. Might even prove useful further down the line from a career point of view, too.

Problem is, I'm still well, well behind (not entirely my fault), so I have a lot of catching up to do. Fortunately, I know my stuff and I know I'm capable of doing well with it, so I just need to focus and get on with it.

Literally JUST FINISHED mine. In 4.30pm tommorow :o

SYNTHESIS OF NOVEL PROSTAGLANDIN F2-ALPHA IN TRANSFORMED SACCHAROMYCES CEREVISIAE AND CONSTRUCTION OF AN EXPRESSION CASSETTE FOR PLANT TRANSFORMATION
