The Division. Are we interested?

What are the best things to spend Phoenix credits on for a newly minted level 30? I got a high end AUG from Lincoln tunnel on challenging that has a paper dps number of 11.1k which seems pretty decent so not sure if I should get the Vector blueprint or spend them elsewhere. Any tips please?

Don't bother with vector if you've already got an Aug.

I'd spend your money on armour blueprints and start making your way toward having a full set of level 31 high end armor. Also consider the black market Ak74 assault rifle as a nice companion to your aug.

Might be worth waiting actually on the armour with the incursions coming up it may be made redundant quickly by the set gear. Though of course a certain level or armour is required to get access to the incursion i don't think it's going to be as high as people are expecting.

Agree with this. I'm still using the AK74 I built as soon as I hit 30 (one of the 20 odd I made anyway). I've recently moved from my Aug back to a vector though - largely due to the extreme shortage of Division Tech (the aug blueprint uses it). Though I'll be honest, the talents and damage is better on my vector (mainly because I made like 30 of them to get a good one) but I do miss the larger clip size and stability of the aug :(

I'd highly recommend the armour pieces in BoO too. Of the pieces unavailable in BoO - you can pick up some good blueprints in the DZ06 shop once you hit DZ50 so save your damned div tech! Don't waste Div Tech crafting blueprints bought for DZCreds, they're item Level 30.

I dont know if anyone knows the answer to this but here goes.

im tempted tog et the season pass, got the game from cdkeys for 29.99.

now i dont fancy having to pay another 29.99 for the season pass, now i have £20 in my steam wallet which i want to use for it. if i buy the season pass on steam will i get a code to stick in to uplay to activate it or will it look for the Division (steam version)

Jesus this time of morning seems to destroy MM, Can't believe Rus Cos just took a hour and I joined a party that had already started. Can see why the guy who was with them left dear god.

We were doing the consulate mission last night with two randoms. We originally thought both of them were hopeless but it turned out it was just one of them. When he left (Mr. hyuk or something) we carried on as a three and although it wasn't easy we managed it. Good tactics, good communication and some strategic running away helped.

To be clear, I've only been closing threads dedicated to naming/shaming people, which is not allowed per our forum rules.
I see no reason to close a thread discussion anti-cheat measures in general, as long as it doesn't devolve in naming/shaming or flaming.

I agree with most of the sentiment here that we need better anti-cheat, and so does the team. Efforts are being made.

Well, hopefully they will do something about it..

Maybe a voting system, leave the anti-cheating to the players?

You can only vote someone when they go rogue
It takes several people to vote for it to be successful
People voting can't be in a team, it counts as one vote
Anyone voted gets a 24 hour ban and loses all DZ items they have on them at the time.
Each time they are banned it doubles the length of the ban before.

That should cover most scenarios without leaving it open to too much exploitation.

Run Lincoln Tunnel on Challenging - takes 15-20 minutes in a semi decent group, less in a good group.
Run the Hard Dailies solo - but obviously you can only run 2 of those a day.
That's about the only way you're going to get Phoenix Creds in short time frames - if you don't have at least 20 minutes to play there's no way of getting Phoenix tbh. DZ bosses drop them 2-3 at a time so you could get 5-6 in a 20 minute period if you're lucky.

Would be cool to have a game with you and Stark again :)

If your rank and load out is at the level where you can take on level 30 elites OK then I would suggest the daily missions on Hard.

That will give you 15 PC for the daily, and around 3-5 for killing the end boss so 36 PC per day roughly just for the hards solo

In addition to that, Lexington on challenging is a good way also - 30 PC plus a few extra at the end for the boss and if you get a decent team, shouldn't take more than 15 minutes to run through start to finish :)

So for those three you would be looking at 60-70PC for less than an hour of gameplay, which is what I plan to do tonight for a few hours :)

do the two daily hard missions.
15 phoenix credits each. That's 30 credits a day for very little work and hard missions scale down for 1 person so are dead easy. Get lots of high end gear and it becomes a speed run.

Challenge mode you will need to team up however. And be prepared for your match made team mates to be **** and have to carry them through. Quite often they aren't prepared and just quit leaving you on your own and having to start the whole thing again.

Yeah already hitting the hard missions when I can :) Thanks for the info!

MM has always been ****.

I find the best way is to fast travel to the mission you want to play, hold G and select your difficulty and then press F to quick match make. Don't MM through the map you'll be waiting for eternity.

I'd say that getting some level 31 high end armor is going to be really handy for incursions.

Beauty of blueprints from the base of operations is you can just keep crafting until you get a decent roll. I'd not bother grinding for division tech at this point but id say its definitely worth getting some good armor. Maybe if you've got really good top end rolls on your level 30s you might be alright. But if you can go from having 430 stat rolls (on a poor 30) to 570(on high 31 rolls) that's a big jump.

But i'd agree on the pieces that need division tech. No point grinding division tech for days on these, just get some decent drops from challenge mode and use those until gear sets come out.

Right, so i am now level 23!! (managed to go from level 16 to 23 over sat and sunday night).

im near the level 30 mark and i have deconstructed everything i didn't need and saved up all my credits (not gone in DZ yet) and materials (not crafted anything either)

what would be the best thing to do when i hit 30? continue clearing the map and doing dailies?

so far i have

15K DPS
12K health
3k electronics (i think)
50K credits

Hi

My uplay: hardoc1221, if you can add me that would great. Currently lvl 30, decent gears been playing solo since the beginning.

I found this to be the easiest for farming phoenix credit if you're soloing.

If anyone wants to add me, rich0dify on uplay - I play most nights.

Also, is anyone sick of all the spoilt rage about HE DivTech droprate whine? Been reading /r/thedivision, every other post is some guy whining about how they've spent every waking moment of the past few weeks grinding and don't have enough HE DT to get their perfect roll MP5.

It almost makes me hate the gaming community.

I am popping out friend requests to people when they pop up.

@Jestering on uplay.

Feel free to drop me one. Need more people to group up for DZ and Challenging

So level 30 (hooray)
Did my first Daily last night and was tough (eventually my internet went down and so got booted a few mins from the end!).
However, anyone care to explain in real simple terms the Dark Zone and how to build up my talents, protection, weapons etc?
Went in DZ and killed some people, things to collect didn't seem that great? There is a weapon I want to buy, but it's 600k+ I think (DZ credits?)

I have no idea about talents and perks?
The one thing I do know, is med kits and modding them....

Also, I have 'finished' the game but still not upgraded 100% on the med, security and tech wings etc finished all the side missions....

Still, awesome game :D
