The Division: Share Your Build Thread

Here's my little all-rounder:

I finally got my SP attribute mask for my tac build last night!! That build is 100% done including all minors rolled towards SC and Pulse:

And just put this together tonight. Reclaimer x2 - one with better toughness, and one with all weapon talents unlocked including coolheaded on the sidearm.

I have tested heroic content with 300k toughness and its fine as long as you play smart and have capped SC following you around.

Now its time for the optimisation of those two builds for minors :)

DPS wise - AB is gone as sentry savage is better so I am working towards min maxxing that build as well and maybe having a second one dedicated for PVP. Will see

Nice one G, next stop for me is getting my Reclaimer build to 45/46k :)

Nice one man!

All my gear mods have +skill power as the attribute at the moment which helps me get up to that 51k.

All stamina minus one firearms in the firearms build.

Fun set, although I forgot to use the reclaimer talent for half of the first DN run lol!

You take savage gloves over vig+booster Gamble? any reason for that? I thought savage couldnt take you over cap, so figured vig would be way better.

As a side note I checked booster with & without the 7k sp on bp & it made no difference to the damage boost, so probably sticking with chd on bp.

Booster shot doesn't scale with skillpower. iirc it gives around a 15% increase in damage resistance and increase. It should make a significant boost unless your firearms is low.

Just go to the firing range and check your Inventory screen's DPS value with booster shot procd. Then check for chd on the dummy.

Without Booster I get around 69K
With I get 89K

Both skill haste and a higher skillpower help with skill cooldowns. Additionally if you want to meet the cap for some defensive skills like smart cover and pulse you need to get higher skillpower.

There is always a trade off with skillpower and chd and depends on your play style, gearset, whether you play solo or in a group etc

As Twirly said booster doesn't scale with SP.

I tested 5 sentry with reckless and vigorous whilst trying to decide and what I found was:
*I hit harder with reckless, circa 3.8million crit headshots, but I crit less times overall compared to savage. Savage I crit 3.5-3.65 million headshots, but can do this almost every headshot compared to 1 in 5 or something.

*Vig chest plus booster - doesn't last long enough for my playstyle and I didn't see noticeable gains in dmg output to offset the reduction in crit chance.

For my savage gloves, I have a few sets. One with chc/chd and SMG for my PVP build. Another set with LMG/Marksman/chd and another set with chd,AR/marksman so I covering all I need.

Personally I only use reckless for pve content with as much damage to elites as I can get.

For DZ PVP it's asking for trouble especially the way the things are atm and you need to know what you're letting yourself in for. It's like walking around with 72.5% armour and it affects your damage resilience even behind smart cover and using survival link.

Fair enough but how were you testing? If it was just on the firing range then thats a solo situation, but you usually run in groups so you will pretty much have a maxed pulse? unless you have no chc on your mods maybe, but then the crit only applies to targets out of cover.

Finalised my builds this morning, most gear could have better rolls (I'm no Momo lol).

AB - vig chest

Rectician - pulse/sc capped got to work on firearms when gear permits

+1 If I use AB again I will be putting a vig chest on instead of reckless.

I tested it in DN with the same group over 12 runs (4 runs savage, 4 runs reck, 4 runs vig) and came to my conclusion based on that.

Rectician ftw :) I am quite happy with mine at the moment, but I was being a bit selective with gear which had its benefits as I was able to roll some minors last night as well so can maybe take a bit of electronics away now and put it into toughness or something.

Ok thanks for that, seems odd you noticed such a difference in the amount of crits, any idea what your unbuffed crit chance is? I've been keeping mine as close to 20% as possible so I'm capped with pulse.

It's always nice to have as high chc chance as you can get. DZ is just full of people pvp'ing lately. Not many people are there to farm and if they are then they are going to continuously get killed from players.

So chc from savage is there to counter any concealment pulse and cover players may use.

hehe, well.....

without savage gloves my chc is 12.5% so that is why I don't see enough crits without them.

All my mods are HS/chd damage and stability and then the savage talent buffs up my chance enough to allow for close to the chc cap upon pulse.

(WIP) Reclaimer DPS/Support/PVE Build

http://imgur.com/a/Sqhzb

It's almost there for PVE. Just need some extra pieces now to make it a viable PVP build.

Next is to work on Deadeye PVP solo and group build. After which I need to finish of my AB hybrid support build.

Following that I need to optimize Sentry for PVE and PVP. This is going to be the most difficult thing to do as it means farming FL.

Nice one twirly! Looking quite optimised already

Thanks to Radeon for the EPIC God Roll Backpack and Mario for the FM mask which had CHC and Health on Kill which I rolled towards SP, my build is now complete.

I guess I could further optimize by using higher rolled mods for better haste and a vest that has damage to elites rather than protection.

Still a work in progress.
Using all Stamina mods atm, will wait until I get a better holster and better savage gloves before rolling anything more, just rolled 2 items so far.

Sticking with my Reclaimer setup and just trying to tweak it. I'm finding it's a great all-rounder, and I stick to Smart Cover like bloody glue now and hardly ever go down!! :D

I just need to creep the SP up a few more thousand without sacrificing any of the other stats....
