*** The Division Thread 2.0 ***

haha it feels like a brand new game in terms of mechanics etc - same fundamentals apply for a balanced build though, even down to good skill attributes but now its balanced.

Only exception really is armour, that is very different from 1.3.

First time in about four weeks, and since the patch today/ I have no idea what's good, what's bad, what I should keep and what I should change/get rid of. Happy days!

same here, not played in months and been back 4 days.

My rule of thumb at the moment, if it makes my stats go up I keep it :D

Likewise!

Not going out of my way to have matching gear sets anymore, not when it reduces my stats overall significantly, at this rate, I will be back on all yellow gear! :p

Hey Rad, here's my Preds setup;

Not as awesome an EAD (I'm at 30% and 17% DTE) but a nicely balanced build I feel :)

edit - DPS upto 261k now, switched to a VX 12x Scope

Just started checking over my gear properly, wow recal on kneepads to armour is really worth it now, before it gave about 200-250 armour iirc, now its 1000-1200.

Quick question about gear sets - why 2 piece nomad specifically? HoK important with the 60 sec heal cd? dps not really needed on 2 piece?

Quite lost with things still, despite a few hours in game. What's the recommended crit chance value now? Mine seems to have halved since the update.

Finally thanks to that stamina mod blueprint I could craft a few decent ones, got my toughness up a bit. Armour mitigation is now at 57.9% :)

Got hold of a better pear of savage gloves so upped my DPS as well.

I'm sticking with pulse for the time being personally. It still does what I want. But then I was never maxing it pre 1.4 so probably not seeing the nerf.

Is it me or are brutal/fierce/deadly dropping more regular? Got a nice aug yesterday with 2 and an even better mp5 today with all 3.

Finally found an ar to replace the ak74 too, had a nice drop on a P461. Got a bit of diagonal recoil but not enough to lose control over unless you're doing a rambo.

From what I gather, I think it's pretty much impossible to get anywhere near enough crit chance to make it worth speccing into.

This. Makes pulse useless too. Deadly, fierce = rubbish.

I managed to upgrade my sniper build tonight since I last showed you this afternoon, gamble. Lost 1K toughness but got FA and armor up and gained the performance mod slot. I need more practice to fire rapid headshots with an upwards kicking weapon. Close to 5500 FA, 476K DPS on a not well rolled sniper. Need to improve my PM with a very specific backpack but currently it works extremely well!

Rerolled a few talents last night in light of the crit changes. I'm wondering though if I should reroll Destructive as well. I'm using an LVOA and it's not easy to keep it on target. Is Accurate considered a waste of time?
