Just to report some finding that might help someone 
For whoever have that bug, where when you climb up a platform above a certain height, the character will automatically jump back down, this bug is caused by the "180 sprint turn" under the control settings. Turn it off and happy days
2. At the moment, sentry call's HSD is still applied multiplicatively, and hence the 2-piece bonus should give about 30% extra damage to a DE build, and would outperform a DE/HF build if you can land HS.
3. Booster shot scaling with SP is very buggy, and bonus does not seem to scale above 25k SP (not confirmed yet)
4. Ignore the DZ lol. Get your gear from the four horseman, which is absolutely easy to farm.

So with a bit of tweaking I can get my toughness up to 630k but I lose all weapon talents and DPS Drops to around 100k. I can get weapon talents active on both my primary and secondary with 170k Firearms, 523k toughness with 50% EDR and 17k SP which isn't bad at all.

Your 170/523/17 build sounds similar to my main one except I don't have the EDR but I have about 25k SP (couple of bits of gear with a +x amount of skill points)
What's the best way to add EDR for dragons nest? I end up swapping out a load of my toughness to up the EDR which may or may not be the best approach.
Still my best kit is the BLIND gear, don't really have an alternative as the stats of everything but sucks
TBH thinking about it overall I still lack a bit of knowledge of how people get such high DPS etc as even upping my firearms gear doesn't get me much extra damage and costs me in toughness

DPS can be falsified by reload speed and accuracy. 50% EDR can be gained as a set bonus from Final Measure gear set.
the real stat to look at is the firearms value rather than the DPS figure itself as it says more.
FM gear quite often drops with EDR on it, so if you have x2 10% major atts as EDR plus 2 piece that is 70% on its own.
I personally run DPS in DN with 0% EDR now, as its not needed until the very last bit - and we just run immunisers for that bit. 5 sentry and 1 savage
If I run tank, I have 75% but that is just how it was rolled originally, 4 tac and 2 FM
