*** The Division Thread 2.0 ***

Add everyone :D

Jedi - I have started using Shotty as primary for sentry/savage with marksman as secondary and it is perfect.

Mainly because I have capable on my m1a so can use a skill and use it without reticule bloom

Another tip for eveyone is that, reddit LFG is usually people finding a leader, so decide on what you wanna, which method you gonna use and what else you need in the team is far better off hoping to join a grp that knows what they're doing.

Reddit is full of lazy people :p

If you type lfg fl hc for example you could be waiting ages for a response.

It's better to start your own group and state what kind of players you need, for example LF3 FL HC DPS players needed - Inc Room 1.

Just use /invite to invite players into the game and don't send friend requests as some people won't accept them as it clutters the Map and is a pita if you're trying to fast travel to the BoO when there are lots of people in there.

FL is the exception where there are a couple of ways to complete it but most people do the left under stairs strat. Additionally most players know what they are doing so will have their skilks set up but if they don't know what they are doing they will ask the group leader what to use.

I've never had a problem finding players there or even playing with the developers.

Edit - See what I mean about most being lazy

This person will never find a group

an hour later and they're still looking.

Thanks Defi/Gamble. I want to start using Shotty+MR :)

Helps that I have a sweet 229 SASG with some decent talents ;) :D LOVE how tight that shot radius is!!

Just have to pickup a nice MR now, best get some Heroic UG ran today!!! :p

And Fear, hope you get your real life stuff sorted soon and hope to see you on :)

didnt have a bad evening in the UG last night doing hard missions to continue ranking up.

managed to get from 28 to 30 so 10 more ranks to go!!

I've just started playing this again the other night, is it worth leveling another character in this game or is it a bit pointless?

you will need the space of the alt's or all 4 as will all the gear sets you run out of space fast :( also more you have on supply drops on 1st and 15th every month ( season pass holders ) ;) 3 mins run every 2 weeks 4 free 268 greens etc with all 4 alts at 30

Just wondering what the best talents for
Assault Rifle:
Snipers Rifle:
Shotgun:

Cheers

Some are dependant on how you play, but i'll rattle off a few to try and avoid.

The majority of these will give you an 'on paper' high DPS, but in reality add nothing to your dps in actual gameplay.

Accurate - Probably the worst offender.
'The Division has a funny way of calculating your headshot chance by taking your 'Accuracy' stat and using that as your headshot chance'. Same applies if you stick loads of accuracy mods on your weapon.

Vicious - Critical hit chance 14% at full health.
Take 1 bullet, your DPS drops, unless you are a bullet dodging ninja.

The G36 Third ( default ) talent - 14% weapon damage when no skills on cooldown.
How often do you NOT use a skill in gameplay ? - Fire off any skill and thats 14% damage gone.

Any bonus granted ' on kill '.
I'm assuming that your level is high and you are facing mobs and playing in groups. How often do you actually get ' the kill '? You could empty 1000 rounds into a l35 boss but 1 other guy might fire the final bullet and get 'the kill'

Those are off the top of my head, there are a few more , i'm sure.

Stick to 'constant' talents - Deadly,Brutal,Fierce etc

cheers brizzle - I kinda knew them ones to avoid - altho I head accuracy can be useful on some weapons?

How about balanced is that useful for sniper?

Also heard that using skill to get increased damage may be useful for sniper?

Just thinking of PVE for each of the weapons :)

I know brutal deadly fierce are highly recommended... just wondering on discussion on pro and cons for each weapon type for PVE :)

I would take capable over balanced on a marksmen as, we always use skills and this talent improves handling for 14s when using a skill.

Literally there is zero reticule bloom when capable is activated - very good talent.
