*** The Division Thread 2.0 ***

I am running 4 piece AlphaBridge and whilst the stuff is crap, it doesn't half do well in solo PVE play.

I use 2 MLG's (to get the double bonus) and have: Talented - Accurate - Predatory - Destructive - Brutal and Skilled.

It took me many many rolls to get the ideal setup and whilst Accurate is a bit lame, it does help quite a bit and skilled is awesome. I run with the insta heal and skilled gives me 5% with every headshot kill and in no time at all, my Recovery Heal is replenished after a few kills and ready to go again. Running with 2 Nomads as well and the 15% heal after a kill is nice to have.

I still prefer the 4 piece Firecrest and fire Turret setup and so much fun but for survivability, what I am running on my main works so well.

All day playing and nothing decent in the Alphabridge stats at all :(

Here are my builds so far:

5 finished builds, 1 which I change gloves now for ballistic shield. I will add more stats tomorrow.

Spent the whole night running around with glasscannon 3 HF and 3 Sentry using a ballistic shield and a pistol. Got a 300k headshot at one point lol

Most fun build so far!

highest damage per bullet build is definitely the lonestar banshee.

FM build is the one I used in clear sky, but I now have a coolheaded pistol to get the smart cover and heals back even quicker for support.

Next build is to adapt the sentry into a tanky, 4 piece sentry so I can run around marking targets (in PVP) with a shield.

I also have a 4 preds and 2 nomad but sold all the nomad tonight as Im used to having no HoK so don't need it anymore.

Got a key from the forums and installed yesterday. Thoroughly loving this game to be honest. I knew it would be a cracking game when I saw the Alpha footage but the reviews from release put me off a bit.

I'm only lvl 7 and working though the story and side quests but so far, I think its a cracking game. Won't be on BF1 tonight as I'm off to the pub but I have every intention of getting on after work for a few hours.

I'm picking gear up relativity quickly and currently only focusing on Toughness. Is it worth holding onto gear which improves the Primary DPS and Electronic Skill as well?

Awesome :)

In regards to holding onto gear - for level 1-30 just focus on anything that gives you better stats that assist with your style of gameplay, but there isn't much need to hold onto particular items as the levelling is quite quick so doesn't allow to have roles as such. Like support and so on.

I love the 1-30 story. I still haven't collected all my collectibles etc though lol

Nice one and welcome. Like Gamble said, don't hold onto anything and just use what works best for you. A mix of tough and stamina are ideal at those levels and skill not so much (and not so much even at 30 now). I proper enjoyed the level 1 to 30 and doing all of the side missions/pick-ups, so much so that I did it 4 times :D

Fired a real life version of that at a range in the Emirates. I didn't realise it existed in game. Where did you loot it?

It was a random drop from the game and not even a world boss, just a random noob on the way to farm a bullet king type boss.

Think I've got my alpha & sentries builds ok for now till I get very specific drops, having some fun with firecrest build, but my 4th char, my old rectician I'm not sure what to do with, is it even worth having one any more with the nerfs to skills? thinking I might shove my alpha on him & get my banshee gear sorted on my alpha as that char has highest dz level.

If its worth keeping the rec, what sort of sp to go for now? I'm hearing talk of 200k sp builds, & what 2 piece would you pair with the rec now?

managed to play a challenging mission tonight all by myself on Tier 4, got right to the final bad guy and had 3 top level NPC's, I could get one down but then you get rushed by axe/shield guys and I just couldn't crack it.

More hard missions, tweaking bits etc.

How does the DZ work? Are there missions similar to that of PVE?

Also, once I'm level 30 in PVE, anyone able to help me boost my PVP level?

There aren't any missions in the DZ. It's basically just the light zone with tougher npc's, and players that usually shoot you in the back and then abuse you in some guttural language. The benefit being that the loot is generally more plentiful than in other areas of the game. The best way to boost your DZ(pvp) rank, is to form a four man killing squad and just destroy anything that moves.

I'm well up for that but need a higher level first. Hit 19 yesterday, from 7 :D I know there are a few players here who are doing well in the DZ so maybe we could group up?
