*** The Division Thread 2.0 ***

Really tempted to purchase this, whats the general vibe around this game at the moment?

Runs really well, looks very nice and feels rewarding to play.

That said apart from the main story missions, the side quests etc... are extremely repetitive, its basically a copy and paste as most encounters even have the same layout.

I enjoyed levelling up until the last few hours and I was bored to death of it by then.

As for the rest ive not really done anything yet so we will see.

Well I've sold absolutely everything bar the kit off my back. May as well do it now rather than wait for when the patch hits.

If those *******s make us start over just ONE more time I'm gonna go nutso :D

edit - On the upside, I have 86 million credits ;)

I think they mentioned on sotg that this change was the final part/the conclusion to the balancing done in 1.4.

They also said the gs wont change again unless they have meaningful content additions that require gs updates :)

And nice, you are going to get that 90 million you wanted lol!!!

Found this for the newbs like me, seems a pretty interesting guide.

Granted things will change for when 1.5 drop but probably worth people like myself trying to get a solid WT4 build ready in time.

It's a good guide for beginners but ultimately as you become more accustomed to PVE/PVP, solo/team play, gearsets etc you can build to what suits your play style, compliments your weapons/talents and create builds that accommodate YOU.

People get so bogged down into copying other people's builds that they ultimately don't understand basic building or creating their own meta and for the foreseeable future rely on other people. Don't let that happen as imo it ruins the charm in building and having discussions with others.

Oh I agree but it just gives you that helping hand when its all a bit overwhelming.

Excellent, I was a bit gutted that I downloaded the PTS again yesterday only to fine that it had been disabled, it's just a shame that it's going tomorrow though!

Wow that pts ended a lot faster than the 1.4 one, wonder why, surely it cant be ready already so soon after all the work they did for 1.4?

Yeah its gutting people who didn't get a chance to test survival the last few days will o ly have today, but the plus side is if they feel its ready, it wont be long till its officially out :)

Karathez - the cool thing is the survival dlc is built upon the core infrastructure as its a separate publishing house, so all the changes made in 1.4 will apply to it :) so as long as the mode works, it can be ready sooner.

1.5 is a different story though but I think its pretty well balanced and a lot of the bugs I saw have been reported already.

88 mill so far ;)

22nd November has been leaked as the date for PC/XB apparantly, but here's hoping they brought it forward a week!! Can't see why not tbh, seems more straightforward than 1.4 :)

Definitely more straight forward than 1.4. 22nd sounds about right tbh, Tuesday just like 1.4.

Time to book that day off work lol!!!

I didn't play Survival long enough to find any bugs. I only managed to play 2 games.

Only criticism I had was why the Hunter didn't have any armour. Every other issue they addressed in SOTG.
