*** The Division Thread 2.0 ***

In the hub where you go to the underground shep, door on the right as u look towards the lift.

1st attempt at survival I got to the hunter, would really add having a gold extended mag to the list of marios tips as u have to burst them down fast or they just get straight back to max health, I almost got it down but had to reload, only had a blue extended mag iirc.

Apologies for asking but once survival has been enabled how/where do you go to start a survival match please ?

Thanks

Open map and look for The Terminal in your Base (BoO),fast travel there,it will be just besides recalibration table, opposite of the Blueprints Vendor

Well, did updated Survival quite easy tbh.
Apart from weapons req div tech to craft (HE weapons) and barely any injections/painkillers to stop sickness i didnt felt any diff from previous version, was quite easy, got a new weapon Urban MDR which has sucky talents (bar its spec talent) but very fun to play with.

Quite enjoyed the slightly tweaked survival but hate the div tech requirement to craft HE weapons, was fine as it was before but still doable solo.

Got quite lucky on my session, found far more meds/injections than I could carry but this varies session to session.

Hope they are as generous with their final loot on release. Wish I recorded the whole session now as it was my best one yet. Face tanking hunters is not always the best idea :D

Will always try and aim for 95k+ toughness before extracting if I can.

Guys, make sure you get on the unofficial OCUK discord channel :)

Lots of guys(including myself) hang out there and a lot of LFG's go through it when looking for certain activities.

In addition, hopefully in a week or two a lot of custom commands will be readded for the new 1.5 resources, cheat sheets, boss maps, build guides and so on :)

Also, I will be organising various tournaments through it and challonge.com for 1v1 PVP sessions(second time doing this) survival timed runs and so on which will be detailed on the announcements wall.

I cant get on discord as I'm on holiday but search for it on the forum(Unofficial discord) or if someone who is already on it can post an instant invitie it would be massively appreciated :)

Just completed my 1st extraction, I like it, was a case of 3rd time lucky, 1st time hunter got me, 2nd time some zerg force landed & cleared all drops where I was so nothing to loot, this time I got lucky & found someone who died extracting & looted all his stuff XD, had 108k toughness, about 65k dps, seems the hunters dont always have the same skills? 1st time it was sticky & seeker, this time seeker & support station. Hardest part about survival seems to be getting div tech, I'm sure some farm the place dry before extracting, only found 1 crate.

you do get a hell of a lot of loot, was all garbage tho ofc - small tip for anyone when it goes live - do some challenge daily till u get a 256 piece, then equip it before u go into survival, raises rewards from 229 to 256.

Alos saw someone mention on the offical ubi forums that it was coming 22nd

Yeah :) caches after lvl 30 now!!

Which I think is great as it gives you something to work towards. New gear/equipment is a welcome addition with continual play. Even if you end up selling it for cash. I've not been saving any of them if I'm honest, but with 1.5 coming soon, I'm going to start saving them.

They really do, especially if you're running underground on hard or challenging. Add that with a boss run and dailys, you've got 3-4 if not more.

My Ubisoft dashboard is defaulting to zh-CN. I've cleared browser cache and changed my password but I can't get the damn thing to default to GB!!

Browser cache? Does it let you change it in Settings in the Uplay app? Does it revert back on restart or something?

If you're looking at it from your web browser, it may be auto-detecting it based on your location (or rather, some funky and incorrect IP resolution). When I view Steam in a browser it usually defaults to French, but you can force it to be EN-GB.
