*** The Division Thread 2.0 ***

Which I think is great as it gives you something to work towards. New gear/equipment is a welcome addition with continual play. Even if you end up selling it for cash. I've not been saving any of them if I'm honest, but with 1.5 coming soon, I'm going to start saving them.

Why save them? Just open them and either use the contents if its useful or sell.

No changes will be made to caches going to 1.5 and no modifications to gs229 gear will happen. Exception being the possibility of 229 weapons and the new gearset in 229, but considering the gs is going up to 256, it will still require farming.

arent there just some attribs that reduce the cooldown? maybe he just triggered that. without knowing what loadout that guy is running i wouldnt like to say its a bug.

edit: so the guy might have a high skill power to start (faster cooldown), then you've got skills like:

Talented - Killing a target with this weapon increases Skill Power by 3% for 5 seconds. The effect does not stack. Killing a new target refreshes the timer.
Coolheaded - Performinig a headshot reduces all skill cooldowns by 2% (does this do sig skills too?)
Commanding - Every kill performed while the Signature Skill is active extends its duration by 18% (would this cause a re-trigger?)
Determined - Killing a target reduces skill cooldowns by x% (again, does this do sig skills?)

Then you have the "Signature Skill Resource Gain" attrib on gear too.

Could've just gotten lucky with triggering one of more of those, plus good skill power?

(I am nursing a headache right now so could be wrong)

Nothing I know can bring an ultimate from 50% on cooldown to being available in one kill. Not even skilled does that.

Anyone know how this bug is triggered?

Enthic is a boss :)

You're right but 50% of an ult cool down isn't possible with one down, even with everything combined.

I had that once in 1.4 but it was slightly different. I went from a slither of the cool down bar to max after fast travelling. I had hit my ult 10 minutes prior.

Maybe server lag and another action resynced everything?

The only ulti bug I know of is the invincible survival link where you literally cannot die regardless of how much incoming damage yo take(for the duration of the ulti)

as above could commanding do it? he did kill 2 guys after it triggered I think, I guess it could stack?

Commanding - Every kill performed while the Signature Skill is active extends its duration by 18% (would this cause a re-trigger?)

edit - commanding goes to 20% since 1.4

also from reddit - "The talent to reduce the cooldown of the skill on a headshot skill is stupid good. My group runs it on every one of our weapons for the darkzone. Chain pop survivor link to kill a horde of people (which I will continue to do until massive realizes signature abilities have no place in the dark zone) then kill like 5 mobs. Boom, survivor link is back up for the next horde of rogue hunters. If you do this right you can have your entire group basically be invincible."

Surely opening the caches in 1.5 will produce gear higher than 229?!

Thanks I will look into those talents when 1.5 drops.

I wouldn't call Enthic a boss too, he died twice from Zombiecurry's group yesterday which had totroll in it lol

posted a few months ago, not sure if still valid..

Skill Cooldown Reduction In Depth - How 4 headshot kills could refresh your Signature skill

Don't talk to me about headshot kills, brings bad memories when Gamble used to steal all my headshot kills :D

Hmmm, good point but I think there was still an element of lag with that 50%. Commanding x2 would produce close to that but it should have looked more staggered.

Also.....i forgot commanding was 20% now, holy crap lol!!!!

Nope, they are connected to the 229 loot table as the 229 isn't being modified at all.

256 is a new thing to be in addition to 229 and is also tied to the world tier it drops from. They wont be giving away new gear for free lol :)

Same concept applied when we all first got 268 gear in 1.3, had to regrind as it was new.

Wont take long though, and besides at least survival will give this sort of stuff if you don't want to face wt5 with wt4 gear. :)

Twirly - Headshot stealer for life :P

This is currently being discussed which would be the best thing they can do in 1.5:

https://mobile.twitter.com/Thylander/status/796692486123044865?p=v

Basically, the discussion is that they remove the +armour roll from our gear so we only rely on native armour!!! I assume if they do this they will also change the cap but very interesting as armour is the only thing stopping us from having 100% flexibility over our roll choices.

Yeah, I dislike that it's a "must roll" on the pieces that support it; it removes so much choice from the game. Having to sacrifice other good stats should be a choice, not a necessity :(

Now this is good news!!!

https://mobile.twitter.com/Thylander/status/798224343746641920?lang=en

Enemy armour damage is still staying in pvp, as is stagger but the enemy armour damage will not be a major attribute upon release!! It goes back to being a minor :)

Fantastic move!

Nice one, as even my 229 Preds setup w/decent EAD and DTE still cut through lvl34 enemies np

(to the point where I couldn't really tell the difference in fighting lvl33's, other than the extra damage that they output)

Excellent news!

Think I am sitting at about 55% armour damage atm

And second news is even better, definitely more chance to have more unique builds, was fed up of missing some nice attributes because of rolling armour every chance I got....
