Looks ok, but im a bit concerned with gearbox being involved. Theyre notorious for using crappy low res console textures in pc versions of games, just have to look at the brothers in arms series for all you need to know on that front.

I'll be buying it though just for the sake of it, duke 3d was one of the first shooters i played on pc and thers a large nostalgia factor involved with it. And whether people can admit it or not, theres plenty that are still interested in it.

I don't know, Borderlands' textures were quite nice, and certainly not console res crappy, and I'm usually a sucker for nice high res textures.

Isn't douche a French word? To be honest, I'm not going to stop using one of my favourite casual insults because the Americans like it. You're not the kind of guy to stop liking a band just because they've become popular, are you? Also, the guy was being a douche.

Are you nuts? Duke3d was a fantastic game regardless of the humour. The only sprite-based shooter that came close was dark forces.
