You could try but it's with your Steam account so there may be a risk getting your account banned with all your games (you know what steam is like)... For a few hours? Not worth it.

I don't really understand why people have preordered from places like Tescos or Asda if you really really want it for release date. Especially if you have a day booked off for it. Surely it would be more worthwhile spending the extra few quid from a supplier (or steam) that you are damm sure of will get it to you for release date.

imo a few quid extra is worth it especially if you have a day booked off from work.

I find it funny now that xbox 360 games are leaked a lot faster then pc games now lol.

They can't blame pc for being the main problem for pirated games anymore lol

I didn't care too much about whether I got it on release day, like you said if I did I would have bought it digitally. Seeing as my holidays start next week I can wait a bit

Its a steamworks game, pretty difficult to leak those.

Calling tesco entertainment atm, waiting for them to pick up.

Go go 1000 mg paracetamol, 50 mg Diclofenac, and 500 mg Amoxicillin 3x a day, keep me alive and well and dont fail me now I NEED SKYRIM!

(I had to add paracetamol, the diclofenac alone was useless).

Is there any disadvantage of buying this on Steam? Will it be harder to add mods to the game in the future?

I don't care if Steam is more expensive, so not worried about price.

The game is Steamworks, so the retail copies will be based on Steam AFAIK. I imagine it doesn't really matter.

All copies of the game need to be installed through steam, but steam games can still be modded. The only disadvantage is having to play through steam and being unable to change the installation directory.

I had previously called them and was told that they ship games out 2 days before release.

When I placed my order at Tesco, it said it would be delivered by release day, though they probably mean the 11th by that

Also I ordered there because it was <£25. Dont mind getting it a day late if I save a fiver.
