The Emirates FA Cup 3rd Round ** Spoilers ** [10th - 14th January 2025]

Lucky Spurs have finally found themselves a decent keeper!

Edit: a decent keeper who's not out all the time like Vicario

Sucks they won't get a replay. Would have been massive for them.
Taking away replays only hurts the teams lower down the pyramid, not a fan of it. Premier league teams can whine about it all they like but they've got the squads and resources to deal with an extra few games. A huge payday for a team like this could keep them going for a season or 2 comfortably.

100% agree. Although it would be fun to see Spurs lose on penalties...

Danger now of some of the Tamworth players playing glory balls, keep the composure and go for penalties.
Absolutely, pens is realistically their best shot at nabbing this. Spurs have brought on Son and Kulusevski so it'll be hard for Tamworth to hang on here I think.

It's often ignored but the national league backed the decision to scrap replays. Everybody gets hung up on the one time every 2-3 years when a minnow got a replay away to a big PL side and forgets about the other 30 replays per season which nobody, in any league wants.

The idea that FA Cup replays helped the pyramid is a nonsense. It doesn't help the pyramid, it helps one club every couple of seasons with the rest getting **** all. Now that's not to say the PL couldn't do more in exchange for losing replays and there's a very simply solution (it won't happen) - don't give PL clubs any FA Cup prize money (winning the competition is the equivalent to finishing 1 league spot higher) and the prize money they would have earned gets distributed between all clubs from League 2 downwards.

This ref has given absolutely everything he possibly can to Spurs it embarrassing

Edit : There you go doesn’t give Tamworth a clear free kick and then a soft one to Spurs that they score from

I don't think it's a huge deal if we lose today - but the performance needs to mirror the one vs Liverpool. Amad not starting though.

Garnacho needs to deliver.
