The Emirates FA Cup 4th Round ** Spoilers ** [7th - 11th February 2025]

The free kick was from the Justin "handball" too, which I'm pretty sure wasn't handball from the replay? Feel sorry for Leicester to be honest.
United have had some bad decisions over the years so I don't feel bad, maybe for Leicester but with the team as bad as it is, you gotta take what you can. Why is there no VAR anyway?

An absolute fluke of a win and typically poor performance. I don't understand why Dorgu was being played on the right, and the midfield was shockingly bad. I thought Garnacho, Zirkzee and Yoro played well.

The issue with Zirkzee (and Hojlund) is that they look passable when the opposition is on their last legs in the final 20 minutes. Start either of them and they offer very little against fresh defenders / midfielders. They then tire as the opposition tire so they never have that advantage they seem to need.

Doesn’t look close at all imo
We'll never know but if one thing VAR's taught me, camera angles can be deceptive. I think it was off but that angle definitely makes it look more offside than it would have been. I also don't think many people realise it's probably the Leicester player behind Zirkzee that's deepest (of the Leicester players) because you can't see him clearly.

How can a goal like that stand in this day and age?

Shows why VAR needed, or goal can be disallowed after the whistle.

Zirkzee has improved somewhat recently. Impress to be honest. Nacho, glad he wasn't sold. He adds that extra to the game. Dalot, jeez, his football IQ is rock bottom. Dorgu did well considering he was on the other side of the pitch. He will do well.

I'm not sure if people understand perspective and line of sight but a linesman has no chance of seeing if Maguire is the furthest forward player. There could be a Leicester player level with Zirkzee playing him on by a mile but if he is this side of Zirkzee you wouldn't have a clue.

As Baz says, thats a deceptive angle. Probably offside but look at the line of the area and then look at the line of Maguire to the Leicester defender. Its nothing like the massive offside many are claiming.
