Slightly surprised by Elliott and VVD's inclusion. Although VVD rarely exerts himself and didn't look like he went for more than a light job after the final, his importance to the side made me assume we wouldn't take any chances with him. Elliott however ran himself into the ground both in the final and vs Luton in midweek, literally collapsing at FT in both games.
 
Yeah, didn't expect to see either in there, VVD's too important to lose and Elliot's the only fit midfielder in the club, other than children, so both strange inclusions.

Hopefully we see both subbed around the hour mark regardless of scoreline.
 
Liverpool: Kelleher, Gomez, Van Dijk, Gakpo, Elliott, Tsimikas, Clark, McConnell, Koumas, Quansah, Bradley.

Subs: Adrian, Konate, Diaz, Mac Allister, Scanlon, Gordon, Nallo, Danns, Nyoni.

Good mix of youth and what’s left of our starting players.

Yea, I'd imagine both will come off around the hour mark, whether it's for Ibou and Mac Allister or kids will probably depend on how things are going.
