I saw it in person at RM Auctions London sale last year (funnily enough it did not sell!). I think the video posted above may have been taken at that time.

I died a bit inside when I noticed that somebody had done that to something as beautiful as a CL500. The cost is almost irrelevant when you think that somebody woke up one morning and decided they would deface automotive art. It's like some little scrote drew a rubber duck on a Monet.
I'm intrigued as to how the 'feel' of an M3 can be replicated with a poxy 1.8.

Impressive BHP from a 2.0 N/A. Think I'd rather deal with 80BHP less and have a Honda S2000 though.
