What do you think im not quite sure yet the idea seems to have been covered a lot of other new series already.
 
i think its going to be a flop, continuity is a joke for one.

i dont know if this is airing in the uk or not or how many episodes may have aired in the uk.


if its more than one you willl notice the ending of one episode can be forgotten and the next episode will act like it never happened
 
It's not bad but i get the feeling it's trying to hard to fill the gap left by LOST. Also the flashbacks are bloody annoying '2 days earlier' '7 weeks ago' 'when dinosaurs roamed the earth...last tuesday' ARRRGHHHH
 
Not as good as Lost, but better than FlashForward.

Seems like a mix between 24 and The 4400 at times.

worth watching if you have nothing else to do, ep 1 is a bit backwords and forwards and your not quite sure where you are , its almost as if they were trying to copy how lost was but thankfully they dont do that very much in any other episodes.

the shows alright ill watch the rest of the series but it could be a lot better, its sort of lost meets the x-files
 
I don’t think I can stand a multi season set of flashbacks. This one is going to be a given a miss.
 
if you dont have much to watch
you want a little of that feeling that LOST gave you

then watch this. some parts are far fetched (youll know what i mean when you watch it)

but the story itself is very decent.
definately a watch
 
loll its not the attention span as such.....sometyimes when you rag out a series you ge put off.
example

i watched 24 upto season four. then i just couldnt watch anymore
when season 8 ended i got a slight peckish about the show and caught up
same with heroes. had to break it off at season 2.
then when season 4 ended i started to watch it again
same with lost
i stopped at season 2 aswell it was their weaker season.
then i caught up and stopped at eps 14 season 4 lol
now i gonna watch it from there through to season 5 finale woohoo
diong the same with dexter - cant seem to get in the new season as of yet so missin it till i feel it!
 
Got the first 2 episodes waiting to be watched, looks interesting from the trailers.
Trying not to read too many threads to give things away :)
 
I quite liked it but then I also liked Flashforward. Lost I couldn't get in to.

What does put me off watching these things is that it will most likely not get to season 3. Might get 2 seasons at best then game over.

I think once a series gets to season 3 theres enough money in the kitty to keep it going.
 
I'm not 100% convinced with The Event just yet. Only seen the first two episodes.

It reminds me of Lost meeting Flash Forward and the 4400. I watched Lost til end of S2 and flash forward was disappointing.

I'm going to give this until about episode 5 to get good, otherwise I think I'm not going to bother.

Would time travelers crash down in a space ship though? :p

In one of the episodes Sofia says that if we knew the reason they were sent here then they would be killed so it has to be something negative, or perhaps they were sent to kill the 'elites' above the government who are preventing their disclosure to the extent that they tried assassinating the president.
