US: The Exorcist (2016)

One little thing that impressed me was when the boy's head swivelled - this time the outcome was a lot more believable than in the original movie. :D

Episode 2 was pretty good too. Didn't have the same impact as 1, but there certainly something here. The stage has been set with what looks to be a much bigger picture. That picture looks similar to Outcast, but I think this will have better direction, acting and of course cinematography than Outcast.

I enjoyed the second episode too, it had it's moments, like the bug vomit scene but was more about solidifying the story than anything.
So far it's looking like being one of my favourite shows of the year and certainly better than Outcast, which sadly didn't live up to expectations.

Gave up on outcast, but yeah that was the show I was trying to recall that just had no interest, will give the 2nd ep a bash its always good to give shows a few eps at least.

I just hope if they are planning on the bigger picture they don't fall victim to putting fillers in-between and were simple left what is going on later on in-between.

I was wondering wtf she was dressing like that for, then realised :p

Hopefully the network give it a chance, it looks like it's getting the Hannibal treatment with really low viewing numbers but very positive reviews.

Good episode for the most part but Tomas being made so ridiculously gullible let it down for me. Succumbing would have been fine but it was the way he instantly believed everything he was seeing and just went with it, it was so unbelievable that it stood out like a sore thumb.

I think that was just them trying to show how weak he is, the demon tried the same tactic by using Marcus' mother - with a lot less success. :D

Yeah i get that, i just feel it should have been done better. To be fair it's the only thing i haven't liked about the show so far though :)
