True, but the UK (and most of Europe it must be said) is a mature market where thee isn't a lot of traction to be gained from new customers. Emerging markets such as South America, India/China and the Middle East are where the sponsors are aiming their cash and sponsorship pounds. They're not too concerned with a few percent drop in viewers here when viewership in the above markets is increasing.
