But Welbeck scored against Madrid, he's amazing now isn't he and adored by every United fan.
Nope I still think he is useless. It was a pretty standard header that anyone in the squad could have scored.

Was rather funny whoever said '**** all you welbeck doubters' after he scored what, his second goal of the season?
He's still technically better than most other forwards in the league, if you can't see how his hold up play and vision help other players then there's no hope
That was me and I'll stick with it.
The bashing he gets on this forum is pathetic, I don't see it anywhere else but here. It's ridiculous and just totally OTT.
But then I don't think posting is really anything but ridiculous/special at all here when it comes to Manchester United, I'm usually more interested in the other clubs goings ons because it's not handbags/damn right dumb.
Just waiting for you to whine about Carrick now...
Give the damn kid a chance, he's a 22 year old forward playing his second full season for the club mainly on the wing, alongside the likes of Rooney and Van Persie. He's never going to outshine them is he? He's still technically better than most other forwards in the league, if you can't see how his hold up play and vision help other players then there's no hope
5* would read again.
Fun day yesterday. Was more than a bit miffed when the ref didn't play advantage as we scored a split second later. Can't argue with the result though. We more than matched Chelsea over the course of three halves of football, in fact I'd say we played better over large period of the two games. But when you're up against such an awesome team mental exhaustion kicks in after a while, the game opens up and you can get easily taken apart.
Over the two games I was very impressed with Mata and Oscar, less so Cole, Lampard and Terry.
Luiz should have got sent off for the shoulder into Reeves' jaw. What the TV cameras didn't show was Reeves standing up just after the foul and collapsing! It was premeditated, purposeful and cowardly. The law whereby receiving a yellow card rules out any further punishment is mind-bogglingly pathetic.
Nice afternoon spent in the Sloany Pony after the gameNow onto Walsall and our impending promotion.
