The FA CUP Fifth Round ** Spoilers ** [18th - 20th February 2017]

Funny that a certain betting company who sponsored the game had special odds on him eating a pie during the game...its just so convenient that he just had to have that pie there and then and couldnt wait.

I hope the FA look into that.

Should be in the Semi's now which could end up being a great match.

Hopefully we win the FA Cup and sign Wenger up for another 3 years end of the season :p

"Gambling Commission open investigation into Sutton United reserve goalkeeper Wayne Shaw eating pie during FA Cup tie v Arsenal last night"

Excellent news.

Why is it?

Bookies offer stupid things like this then whine when they get caught out. Don't offer it then, simple as that. They wouldn't complain if they made thousands from speculative punts on it so don't moan when you lose on it.

Also, Shaw doesn't control the cameras?

I agree with this totally - if its actually a sporting bet thats been "organised" then fair enough get it looked into heavily, but this is just a bit of fun whats the big deal

Also, Shaw doesn't control the cameras?

Not sure this has anything to do with it

Where are you drawing the line then? Shall we have novelty bets every weekend? Its only "banter" right?

"The FA website refers defines that as "information that you are aware of due to your position in the game and which is not publicly available".

It adds: "You are not allowed to pass inside information on to someone else which they use for betting."

He could have sat there and eaten a pie when he liked, the cameras didn't have to show him eating it.
