The FA CUP Fifth Round ** Spoilers ** [18th - 20th February 2017]

Where are you drawing the line then? Shall we have novelty bets every weekend? Its only "banter" right?

"The FA website refers defines that as "information that you are aware of due to your position in the game and which is not publicly available".

It adds: "You are not allowed to pass inside information on to someone else which they use for betting."

I'm suggesting don't do them at all. Sadly for him because it's such a silly bet I don't see any way out for him. If they aren't happy about paying out then don't offer it to people in the hope they'd be throwing money away. If he'd influenced the outcome of the actual game at hand, then that's wrong.

In fact the BBC article says bookmakers were warned of the integrity of 'novelty' bets last year, so why exactly did they not heed this warning? Both should be slapped tbh.

Agreed both should be reprimanded. It makes a joke of the whole sport when bets like this are being done and frankly its shadowed Sutton's otherwise excellent cup run.

They paid out a 5 figure sum i believe
