Yeah, I think there were probably 2-3 situations in which Brentford shouldn't have certainly scored, but done better. Trotta offside one Forrester delayed the pass for ages, Trotta had a good run early in the half and blasted it when he had far better options and Forrester had one shot that the pass into the box was the much better option. But they are well deserving of being ahead, CHelsea have been dire, but Brentford's passing has been very good despite Chelsea being poor. Cahill is having a mare, Ivanovic got owned by Forrester who has been excellent in the first half.
Even Lampard not playing great, no idea why Benitez would stick on two guys who had barely played to supplement a truly woeful Torres, either Ba upfront and two back up wingers, or Torres upfront and one of their better players on the wing. Essentially the front three is, one crap midget, one left back and one striker who has been out of form for over 2 years, that wasn't even going to work out well.
The back pass situation was odd in that, Turnball held on to the ball to delay the freekick, same as kicking it away really, Brentford wanted to take it quickly. At the very least the keeper should have gotten a yellow for stopping the freekick being taken, and, I honestly can't remember, is a keeper picking up a back pass normally a yellow card itself?
