The FA CUP Fourth Round - 25/26/27 January *** Spoilers ***

Woot Giroud with a second goal...2-1...what a pass by Diaby for a change:eek::D

Few more Arsenal please and for gods sake defend please.

Who's Harry going to blame for this defeat? The players, the fans, the officials, the chairman, the stress of the transfer window? They've got a team full of Premiership players and they're getting smashed by a League One side.

PMSL and there you got Arsenal promptly concede...**** me what a waste 2-2

Cant defend for ****

Mert at fault there...2 very very poor goals conceded by our utter ***** defenders

70 mins gone and yet Wenger hasnt made any subs :/

Come on FFS put Carzola, Wilshere and Walcott on...

13 and 9 for the season so far for Giroud. Not a bad record considering he's only half way through his debut season. Walcott is 16 and 11.

It's not at all bad, more particularly because Wenger kept screwing him around and trying to finish off any confidence he gained by dropping him after half his best performances(with or without goals).

Walcott upfront with him is a bad idea, look how we played for a month with Walcott upfront, zero interplay, zero involvement from Santi, zero involvement from Podolski basically, upfront his utter inability to play for others hurt us sooo much.

Giroud's interplay is what is bringing Santi/Podolski into games lately, he'll come deep or make a run in behind, or go wide, take it to feet and pass someone in behind (like the Santi goal where Giroud dropped deep, pulled the defender with him, left a massive space, got the pass and flicked it over the defence for Podolski to run onto), its his ability to play with variety that makes him good, Walcott has zero variety... "play me in behind or....." .

Its worth noting though that Giroud, has only scored in I think maybe 6 games including today, and its, Fulham away = joke, and a goal against Spurs with them down to 10 in a thrashing.

I think Giroud has actually been very effective in multiple games against better teams, but his goals have come in a relatively low number of games with braces against some sides who really aren't good.. in the cups he's scored against Coventry, Brighton and Reading.

It would be nice to see him be better infront of goal against some top half teams, but he does link nicely with a few of our key players. He's by a mile our best option upfront at the moment, him being dropped for forehead of Walcock is a complete joke.
