The FA CUP Fourth Round ** Spoilers ** [23rd - 26th January 2015]

Can't enjoy this game in the slightest....... who in the hell put Savage on as commentator, no one, literally no one can stand him as a pundit so put him on as a freaking commentator. Even Owen is less irritating than Savage. Just as stupid but monotone and ignorable.

ffs, and 3-2, seriously. Brighton have been meh, even in this game Arsenal can't defend properly. Flamini has been dire in trying to cover, he was pathetic trying to block the first shot. He's fouled multiple times, over committed in tackles in central midfield leaving them to attack(poorly) behind him.

Flamini was half useful in his first 6 months back with us but he's no where near good enough. Coquelin(who I've been saying should have a run for 3+ years) finally got a run and has been looking better by the game only got a chance when everyone else was injured. I wonder where COquelin might be now in terms of how good he was had he been starting 30-40 games a year for the past three years which he really should have been. He's looking pretty hand having barely played at a time young players need games to improve. Of course had he been any good he may have left for a club winning things by now :p

That's because Arsenal are winning :p

The best thing about the FA Cup weekend now is that no matter who wins it, it'll be because Man City and Chelsea were knocked out early to lower league opposition and so it only counts as a half an FA Cup.

Good little fight back from Brighton then, credit to them.

Nice to see Chuba getting some game time and nice goals from Ozil & Theo.

We looked worse defensively than against Citeh, I blame Shez!

That's a penalty against chambers for me. His arm is out for an extended.period as he backs into the box. Regardless of how close he was its not as if he didn't have any chance to put his arms down like a player sliding in to block the shot.

He has no time to get out of the way of that tbh, no pen for me.

It shouldn't have been that far out in the first place, it's not like he hit the cross first time, he was running at him with the intention to cross for a good few seconds. The only reason I can imagine it being out like that is to make himself look big and make it harder for the person crossing the ball to get a good view into the box. He intentionally had his arm out therefore it's a penalty for me.

his arm wasntas far out as you implied. He was in a pretty standard defensive position mate. nothing out of the ordinary so therefore it was the correct decision

That's a standard position for a keeper, not a defender. If his arm was at a 45 degree angle or something I could maybe agree that it wasn't, but it's completely outstretched and he had a long time before the cross was made to get his arms out of the way of potentially getting in the way of the ball.
