Ref's have been **** poor all season. No consistency in their decisions
Its not the big issue, but it is an issue. Nobody can argue that we need a CB , a proper LB and a striker. Those require spending money.
Can't utilize the players we already have well, can't expect owners to have much confidence we'd do it with others.
Klopp needs to pull out some results and build confidence, we haven't got garbage players (certainly wasn't an excuse for Rodgers). Unfortunately I feel it will be a situation where we end well, and repeat the 'Liverpool cycle' next year.
Trouble is that all too often once results go right, the attitude is "well that guy is ok in that position, no rush needed to sign someone else for the position" and then we get lumbered with chaff in a position instead of replacing them with someone decent. I'm very much of the opinion that if someone isnt good enough in a slot, instead of trying to utilize him in the slot better, you get someone better instead. Its why I would have replaced Moreno ages ago, its why we should have better centre backs than Lovren and Klavan, its why we should have a better CM player than Can and Lucas and so on.

Im not saying he needs to go. I like klopp but that team selection today was Fluffing stupid. The only option for a cup after losing a chance of going to wembley and he makes 9 changes! Idiotic.
Must admit, I was quite surprised by the team selection, I wasnt expecting to see so many young/second string players in a match which is our last chance of silverware.

I wouldnt even be thinking of tuesday after the last game. Needed full squad out no matter what today. Make changes when we have the game under control.
Well I guess getting top 4 is more important them a cup this*year.*We clearly didn't get all the players we wanted last summer so I guess the current thinking is get top 4 so we can get better/more players this summer due to having champions league, as that clearly effected last summer.

Missed most of the second half but it looked like we started playing better after the change?
As for the result, I'd love to congratulate Wolves on their performance but they just followed the blueprint on how to beat Liverpool so I'll just congratulate them on a fantastic result instead.
Imagine the damage that could be done if we finish top 4 and have to contend with European games next season if we don't improve the squad

Surely there will be significant spending at Liverpool if you get European football
There's money available now. The issue is Klopp refused to buy anyone that isn't a first choice target. If the right player isn't available then we won't sign just anybody.

No idea what's happening at Liverpool. Reckon you should get rid of Sturridge tbh - he's either up for it or not. You can't harbour stuff like this at the top level.
With regard the cup. Nightmare that it's not what it once was. All about top 4 now £££

Sturridge is an easy one. We play with a high press from the front and he's either incapable of playing that way now due to injuries or he simply doesn't want to put the effort in.
