The FA CUP Fourth Round ** Spoilers ** [29th - 31st January 2016]

I feel bad for Klopp. He's told old to have enough years to sort that **** out. I think it's going to end up being such a shame he didn't go for somewhere like Arsenal or United.

You come out with the same stuff every time we appoint a manager or sign a player.

Would love to see this team start against Villa...

----------Sturridge----------
---Coutinho-Tex-Firmino---
-------Can-Henderson------
Moreno-Lucas-Toure-Clyne
-------------Ward-----------

Really? We're a striker, defender and keeper away from threatening. We're already the most creative team in the league since Klopp joined and that's with huge amounts of nonsense in the team.

I seem to be the only person that's not sold on him. I'm not sure whether people realise he's not actually very young and they're still qualifying his performances in the belief he's some promising 18 year old. He's a tidy player but that's it. He's not creative enough, he doesn't score, has no pace, doesn't put a big shift in.

If he was good enough he would've made it already but he looks better than Lallana and Ibe do (far more composed on the ball) at the moment so deserves a start.

Bit harsh to say he doesn't look creative though, stick Benteke ahead of Zidane or Iniesta and they would both look **** as well :p

He's composed on the ball but he doesn't do anything with it which answers your 2nd sentence too. He's not somebody that plays key passes or penetrating passes. He looks neat and tidy when he's on the ball but nothing or at least very little ever comes of it.

He's a diet Lallana, no make that Lallana Zero.

Well, FSG paid a lot to get Klopp. Maybe they'll listen to him when he tells them their transfer policy has been an utter disaster.

Awesome cross/header, but can't help but feel bad for Lucas...

Why? He was fouling with little pushes pretty much the entire game. Ridiculously stupid to foul there, and he was punished for it.

If you want to feel bad for someone, feel bad for some of the young lads who played pretty well and have ended up losing out.

Of course you like Rodgers, he was in relegation form.

I think he was a quality manager having a bad season. As seen from Klopp it's certainly not easy to turn around, the players he lost he wouldn't have wanted to lose and how much of Liverpools transfer policy is down to him is obviously debatable. Also it's not like anyone is playing that well this year.

I still maintain 18 months-2 years from now everyone will be saying how he hasn't gotten any closer than BR and what did the change actually achieve. I dont think you are a few players of threatening like Pigeon said. You are a few players off putting together a more solid 11 but that is miles off threatening for the league. Unless he meant for the top 4, then yeah on some years I would agree.

Klopp is quality but right now how Liverpools funds/spending sits, it won't be enough.

BR assembled this team and spent £300 million on it.

He also had hissy fits when players were signed he didn't want (Balotelli) and froze out people and binned them off on loan (Markovic). We were in no way at a squad size that meant we can loan players out.

He was far from a quality manager and it was only the magic of Suarez/Sturridge and the others that got us to second place, they were scoring for fun.

Now those players have gone we are left with this 'team' that Klopp has to make do with until the summer, one that has admittedly been blighted by injuries, and had we been lucky enough to have had Sturridge fit and Ings in the form he was in I'm sure things would be looking a lot healthier at this point under Klopp.

Lets look on the bright side, we are in 1 cup final and still in the Europa league. Obviously the league is a wash out but that means we are still in a shout for 2 trophies.

When you consider that some "big" managers and teams go years without even winning 1 cup, if Klopp can take this team , with none of them being his own signings, and win a cup (or even 2 maybe) in his first 9 months in english football. Then thats pretty good really.

Indeed it is, in a way it's a blessing we are out as our fixture list & team can't cope with all these fixtures.

Klopp needs to take some blame for that. His style of football isn't going to work in this league so he needs to adapt his training methods and philosophy to suit English football or we'll constantly find ourselves in this position.

He mentioned adapting some things because of wind, didn't he? Even though that was mocked! But how can you say his style of football won't work? Don't you have to wait for him to try it with players who suit it/are players he wants?
High pressing game requires more intensive training and the result has been multiple hamstring injuries. Might work in leagues with less games and breaks but I can't see it working here due to the demands of the English game.

From threatening what? You honestly think you only need one striker, one defender and a new keeper? I know I may be looked on as biased as an Evertonian, but I think this is genuinely one of the worst Liverpool squads I've seen in my lifetime, with a load of average players in it. You have some great players like Coutinho and Sturridge, but I look at a lot of the others (like Milner and Henderson) as solid, dependable players, rather than the world class players you'd expect a team like Liverpool to have.

Mignolet's made 9 mistakes which have led to goals and 15 points dropped. Add a striker who can't score and that's a huge amount of points we've dropped. Replace those two with decent players and we would be far higher up the league.
