The FA CUP Quarter Final ** Spoilers ** [11th - 13th March 2017]

Man.U. have no strikers available for tonight apparently, that's handy.
Mind you I don't think it'll make for a very exciting game as they're likely to just pack the midfield and defence in that case.

I think this is what'll happen. Pack the defence and midfield and try and score from a corner or on the counter attack. This would have probably been the plan anyway but no recognised striker will make it more difficult. Mkhitaryan is probably the best option up front I suppose...

I'm not hopeful. :p

You should be, you've become quite a good cup side now ;)
JM will be dying to win this one I think after the hammering we gave you last time and as he thinks we just defend and counter attack he'll probably just try to nullify that and nick a goal somehow.

Won't even watch, don't care if we win if I have to watch Fellaini up front for 90 mins I'm likely to try garotting myself by half time.

Either that or he will throw the full might of our attacking options at you

We haven't got a recognised striker available so we will defend and hope to steal something on the break I imagine. Very little chance of us winning this one.

with no real pace in the side I cant see Chelsea's defence being stretched on a break so its a case of getting as many tall players in their box for any corners (but we will probably hit the first man anyway so wont make any difference).

To be honest we could have done without this game, and as long as its not a draw (highly unlikely) or goes into extra time I really dont care about the result

Focus on Thursday and the weekend before taking stock over the international break.

(I wouldnt "waste" Mkhi's best assets by playing him as a striker, young or Fellaini are the "best" striker options for tonight imo)

Welbeck scored a screamer on his league debut too. Could just be a smokescreen but Mourinho is saying he doesn't want to use the U23 players. Personally I'd go with Fellaini up front and then the question is do you go with attacking fullbacks to get in behind Chelsea's wingbacks and put crosses in, or just lump it straight up to Felli and Pogba to try and dominate Azpi and Luiz and provide knock downs to Micky and Mata? Concern with the former is you can see Chelsea dominating and keeping them penned back in their half.

Will be intresting to see if Conte picks the usual team given Chelsea haven't got another match for ages, or whether he looks to combat the potential MU aerial threat by bringing in a different CB like Terry.
