It's also naive of BR to drop in Balo and expect a performance. Strikers rely on sharpness/confidence and game time, something I imagine Mario has zero of.

We were very lucky to get the result against Swansea and we've been abysmal since. The formation change was meant to bolster the defence, which it did for a while, but it also hurt our attacking play which hasn't improved and now we look awful at both ends of the pitch.

Rodgers needs to sort this out quick before our season ends up in pieces and he could do far worse than reverting back to the 4-4-2 diamond.
 
He needs to start playing bloody strikers up front and not pin all hopes on Sterling blitzing past people like he did last season with Sturridge and Suarez.
