The FA CUP Semi Final ** Spoilers ** [18th - 19th April 2015]

I love Rafa, still my favourite manager by a distance and probably will be due to pretty much everything about him but I have to agree him with FSG would not be fun. How many lampshades would we get?

What is the pulling power of Klopp by the way, who has he signed that was amazing before hand?

I feel Klopp would have much more pulling power at Liverpool than he does at Dortmund. While there are still the likes of Chelsea and City, I don't think their allure is a strong as that of Bayern. Not to mention he might end up bringing a couple of Dortmund players with him, Hummels especially would be a massive plus for Liverpool at the moment.

Put it this way, would do you think has bigger 'pulling' power, Klopp or Rodgers.

It would've been nice if we had been smart enough to realise we had to pay what was required to get Sanchez

From what I read online Liverpool offered more than Arsenal for Sanchez. The player just chose Arsenal over Liverpool.

Liverpool probably didn't plan on losing him and when they did they panicked and bought Balotelli I would guess.

At the end of the day you can offer a sum that will make him come, which should have been our priority over any other summer signing.

At Liverpool? Neither. I don't think we'll attract anyone different without spending a lot more than the others around us whether we have either of those two in charge or Rafa. (Rodgers vs Klopp at two Man City like clubs though I imagine they pick Klopp of course but I think it is irrelevant here sadly for us)

Ancelotti would be the only one I think it'd be different and even then I think it would be difficult.

Sturridge had an almost unbelievable run of being injured, then they tried to offload Borini, and in an ideal world they would have got Sanchez instead of Balotelli.

If I remember correctly, Sturridge averages an injury every 4.5 games (Guardian).

I could really see them getting rid of Rodgers this summer. Purely because good potential managers are not always available and there can come a point where by the time a manager is disposed of, all decent managers are "taken". It might be that the suits in power look at who is available this summer and decide that they must move for them now or miss out

Klopp.

That's not true. Yes, it's harder regardless who the manager is if we don't pay top wages but the manager still makes a meaningful difference. There's not a chance in hell that we'd have signed either Alonso or Torres had Benitez not been our manager.

Outside of England Rodgers is unheard of and has no pulling power. Benitez had helped massively in attracting Spanish players and it would be the same with German players and Klopp wherever he goes.

Bar the fact Klopp's had a shocking season, do people honestly think he'll join a club that's financially dominated by three other clubs when he's publicly stated he hasn't enjoyed working for a club in a league that's financially dominated by one club? He hasn't got a hope in hell of winning anything at Liverpool in the next few years.

I do not want to be drawn in to a debate surrounding Liverpool changing their manager to be honest as I think Rodgers is still doing ~ok~ (said in Rodgers voice). I do however think he needs help with player recruitment.

I do maintain that Klopp, if he moved to England, would be far more likely to manage Liverpool over Manchester City in my opinion. I now await him taking over at Manchester City  haha.
