The FA CUP Semi-Finals 13/14 April *** Spoilers ***

Looking forward to the chelsea/city game. After all that's the final really. They should just save the final to give the poor over worked players a rest and call the other semi for a bronze medal play off ;)

Demba Ba and Ryan Bertrand should be available for the game. Ashley Cole (hamstring) and Gary Cahill (knee) remain out.

Also football is arguably not the biggest sport in Wigan, it is in close proximity to bigger towns with clubs who have been much more successful historically (MU, MC, Liverpool, Everton, Blackburn), they hardly ever sell out home games and it is a long way from Wembley considering it doesn't finish until after 7pm. Chance of them shifting over 30k tickets was always pretty remote.

Have to say Wigan are such a odd side, so unpredictable. When they do fire, they really do play the ball round ever so well, yet they just lack consistency and real quality that will see them consistently compete in the Premier League.

I guess a club of that stature will always struggle mind you, never going to be able to keep hold of their top players (Moses & N'Zogbia come to mind) but i guess Martinez does well when working with scraps.

Millwall must fancy their chances at Wembley with their large vocal support, though feel Wigan will prevail on a big pitch if they find their passing game.

The Millwall support won't bother Wigan, they are used to that every week. As with most games this will be won or lost in midfield. If McCarthy is on his game then Wigan could and should stroll to the final.

Let's change the semi-final venue to cater for 1k Wigan fans.

Why does it have to be at Wembley anyway, isn't playing at Wembley supposed to be a kind of reward for teams that reach a final? A neutral venue a similar distance from both teams or a 2 legged semi-final would be better in my opinion.

And it doesn't just benefit 1k Wigan fans, it saves the tens of thousands of Wigan fans the 6 hour round trip and probably £40-50 in petrol.
