The FA CUP Semi-Finals 14/15 April *** Spoilers ***

a bad penalty decision 80% of the time = what Atkinson did. Refereeing mistake in game that wasn't even close. Not that big a deal lol...

Of course it ******* isn't :o

The way modern day players are today you can forgive a ref for giving an incorrect penalty decision, Young today, Suarez v Arsenal, countless other examples all look like certain penalties in real time, it's only when you see the replays and the incident slowed right down from multiple angles can you see whether or not the player in question has played for it or not.

Not being able to judge whether or not the ball crossed the line from 5 feet away with a perfect view isn't excusable.

If they had won the game 2-1 then there would be a major outcry, but can't say Chelsea didn't deserve the win after winning 5-1.

I don't think this really holds up due to the fact that goals have a big impact on games and they can negatively affect the players.

The problem is take the goal that never was away then when Bale scores it's 1-1, can anyone honestly say that Chelsea would still have definitely ran away with it if that was the case? Of course I can see an argument that had the goal that never was not happened would Bale still have scored? Who knows but I think when talking about turning points in the game that second goal was the game changer.

Goal after all?

Hm, that's a fair point, I think you could make the argument that the entire ball is over the line there (assuming the image isn't edited).

Blatent shop
Bennys feet were infront of the line, not behind like that image suggests. It never went in

'Chelsea captain John Terry has admitted that their second goal against Tottenham in their FA Cup semi-final win should not have stood. '

Then why did you run away with your hand in the air celebrating you goon...
