The FA CUP Sixth Round - 9/10 March *** Spoilers ***

Everyone is forgetting his bad ankle injury. Although in a completely different sport, I know first hand what its like to be injured doing a sport then trying to come back as strong/stronger than before.

True, he came back and had a great last half of the season last season but it still takes its toll. Id give him another season and a good pre-season coming before id think he has really lost it.

I think we need another winger then. Young has been just as poor as Valencia for a lot of this season and him and Nani have both had long injuries. We've looked starved of depth and quality out wide for a lot of this season.

No-one is forgetting his injury, it's mentioned constantly.

Id have Rodriguez from Porto. At the expense of Nani? Im not sure. He is frustrating as hell as a player, he has abundances of talent but he goes missing in too many games :/

Agreed, one of United's strengths has always been that we spread the play really well and create plenty of chances from wide positions. Our three wingers have all been average this season, and despite being off-form for much of the season Nani still looks like the best of the three. Don't forget Zaha will be with us come the summer, he'll add something new to the wings and give those three a bit of competition. It might be that we get rid of one of them too.

So to strengthen you'd sell our best winger and get in an unproved youngster? :p

Nani is inconsistent but he is far, far better than Young and Valencia. Besides what winger is consistent? Their very nature requires attempting difficult balls, especially when you don't have big strikers to aim at. He offers a goal threat and improves our general attack (look at how in the last 2 games we've gone from winning 1-0 and 2-0 to losing 2-1 and 2-2 draw when he's gone off!)

Ah , yes I'd forgotten about Zaha. Who knows what he will offer though.

I think Zaha will replace Valencia.

He might even improve the squad if he's Valencia's replacement.

I don't think Zaha is the answer though. He believes his own hype but I don't.

The fairest way of assessing Valencia is to look his entire career at United; good first season, injury hit second, third arguably his best to date, forth without a doubt his worst. Just by looking at that alone says he's been more good than he has bad.

There's never been any doubt that Nani is the best of the 3 nor is there any doubt for anyone who isn't a complete fool that Valencia is better than Ashley Young.

Generally Valencia is better than Young but not at the moment (it's like comparing dumb and dumber though, they've both been pants this season) I wouldn't be disappointed to see Young leave, I know he counts as homegrown but I just don't think he'll ever have the quality.

The FA will not be charging Ferdinand over the Fernando Torres incident.

He's fast become an utter **** and the FA are just as bad for not charging him.
Imagine if it was Suarez or Terry doing that to RvP or Bale, the thigh rubbers would cream themselves.

Agree to an extent.

The FA haven't become terrible over night though, their lack of action on a number of things just highlights how intept they are.
