Either way, nearly every manager brings in their own people (ffs even OGS did in a relegation theatened team so no reason at all why Moyes shouldnt)
Maybe Zaha has deserved a shot, but only two or three people can really say how good he has been in training etc, I doubt its gone this long with ONLY Moyes having the only say (Im sure Neville and Giggs have both pt their own views across at some point).
Without any additions the top 4 will be a struggle however close it is now, especially if injuries continue as bad as they have been for the last couple of months (esp RvP and Carrick not being available for the most part)
Im not sure Utd deserved to lose, even though they were playing ****. Saying that they certainly didnt deserve to win either, and Im glad in a way that its one less competition to worry about with an underperforming squad.
Given the new Chevy (and hopefully Nike soon) deals not to mention all the other deals the merchandising team are doing, there should be enough in the coffers to compete for any player (baring Messi / Ronaldo if either or both end up at PSG / Monaco).
But Utd shouldnt be chasing those players who are looking JUST for a good payday, it should be about wanting to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world and 2ndly about playing in the EPL and being challanged in every match.
Thats just daft, he woudlnt give him (so publicly, let alone at all) his backing if he had no confidence in Moyes doing the job
If Fergie had wanted to appoint the best man for the job Moyes wouldn't have even been in the picture, obviously him and Moyes are a bit chummy and are fellow Scots. It struck me as being jobs for the boys.
Thats just wrong.
No 1 - Fergie had too much love for the club to just appoint "one of the boys".
No 2 - He has vocally supported British managers at British clubs on many occasions, so this was probably a contributing factor.
